I think the one set at my Putt-Putt had the in-stage heal-and-reload mutant power option turned off, and after each boss you were healed, and each major stage boss gave you an extra mutant power.
Interesting facts about this game: They actually made 3 versions: The 2P version you see in this video A 4P version, usually came in a cabinet similar to TMNT and TMNT Turtles in Time And a 6P version with 3 screens and 6 controller setups, one for each individual character Also, this video has the Japanese ROM of this game which has Pink Sentinels you destroy for Health/Mutant Power power-ups The English version doesn't have the Pink Sentinels, you get the Health and 1 Mutant Power for clearing a stage. And the Japanese version only restores your health after clearing a stage. Still a fun game though.

Used to play this classic all-time favorite X-Men game at Funworks in the 90's! Played it so many times and quite awesome to see it again. Thanks for posting.
Too bad konami couldnt release a comp with this and simpsons included with other classic arcade titles. I understand obtaining copyrights, but a guy can dream.
@@rickylucas6503 No, you're absolutely right. But with so many different companies coming together to make the deals to allow compilations to happen, it is really weird that that would still be an issue today. But maybe one day, I guess.
There are so many memorable quotes in this game. “Pyro will turn you to toast!” “Nothing moves the Blob!” “The White Queen welcomes you to die! Hahahahahaha!” “Juggernaut will flatten you!”

This at the arcade...with the 3 screens across and 5 sets of joysticks...my early 90s heart!!
Dang, that's a crazy cabinet...
Yeah with all six players simultaneously it was pandemonium
I think the one set at my Putt-Putt had the in-stage heal-and-reload mutant power option turned off, and after each boss you were healed, and each major stage boss gave you an extra mutant power.
Funworks then it became the Nickel Arcade. Those were the glory days. Camelot Park was a thing too!
I never saw one of those here in my region back then. I only saw 2 players cabinets.
9:44 Deadpool says that same line in Marvel VS Capcom 3 when facing Magneto.

The 6P version to me was the best out of the 2P and 4P
@@dracosamm Agreed, costed me a lot of quarters, and 6 months of freedom (aka I got grounded). Wouldn't have changed that time for the world.
Also the JP version uses mutant power before sacrificing health, while the US version is the other way around.
@@coolnut99 That's also true! I never noticed that before.
This was like playing the comics - so much fun
I loved this cartoon , that the arcade was made from.. I wish they would have made it a whole series .
I believe it was supposed to be a whole series, but the pilot never got picked up. It was called Pryde of The X-Men
@@ragnakak yes I had the VHS as a kid . I watched it so many times I can probably now recite it haha .

That's kind of a shame considering the potential the pilot had. But oh well.

Arcade graphics and audio were way ahead of its time
9:42 X-MEN, WELCOME TO DIE!
NOTHING MOVES THE BLOB!
I loved playing as Storm, too.
Absolute classic, always played as Nightcrawler…lost track of how much money me and my mates pumped into this game ❤
Now we just need a console adaptation of this and the Simpsons game and I'd be so damn happy
Both games are available for download in the PlayStation and Xbox online stores.

I'm so glad I bought this on Xbox live back in 2010. I'm hoping they rerelease this game for a wider modern to experience.
I brought it as well but I can’t access it!! Do you know how to start it?

Cool, still a title I have no regrets buying on my Xbox and ps3. A title we'll never see released again 😆
Nimrod the most advanced Sentinel ever built spends half his time screaming at the top of his robot lungs for no damn reason

There are different types of Sentinels
Mass produced Soldier variants
I have every confidence this game plays just fine, but wow, did it need an enema.
I'm still wandering why they put Dazzler in and why Storm wields a wand...
