- Taking my 1997 Ducati 900SS from Clatterin’ Bridge up to (and down from) the Cairn o’ Mount on the B974 old military road on a windy day (it is always windy up there). No voiceover, speaking or inappropriate music to spoil the sound of the old engine and the wind.
I always wanted a 900SS *jealous*
I have owned it for almost 25 years and will probably never sell it. Also, I intended to do some drone video of me going up the hill but it was way too windy to fly.
Your duke has a nice note to it. Back in the day, i test rode a 600 SS and a 750 SS, but not the 900 SS. I found that unless I was doing over 100KPH, the weight on my wrists was a little uncomfortable. How do you like long distance travel on the 900SS? Great Video and no BS. Stay upright
Sound is from the rear camera as the helmet cam was just all wind noise - even with internal helmet mic. I am 6’2” and long distance is fine if I make sure to keep my left wrist straight and bend the right forward a bit so that it is straight at part throttle that way I am not hanging on them. Also gripping the tank with knees helps. I suffer badly with sciatica and riding the 900 is one thing that relieves the symptoms.
