    One of my WIPs is your easy baby shower blanket and I’m loving it very much, but I’m laying in bed watching your videos and came across this one….oh my gosh it’s just gorgeous….its very like a virus blanket but more textured, I absolutely love it 🥰. I will not allow myself to have more than three WIPs on the go at once but as soon as I have finished one this will definitely be started. I’m glad you’ve done a tutorial because I can’t read a pattern or a complicated chart but love crocheting along with you. I know you will probably not see this comment because the tutorial is quite old but felt compelled to write it anyway. Bye 💁🏼‍♀️🫶🏻

    Thank you mikey. I wanted to do a virus blanket but I wanted texture. I found another video but she went way too fast so I looked for an alternative and I came across Mikey and knew this would be a success. Very easy to follow as usual

    This is gorgeous and you make it look so easy. I saw the diagram in the video my eyes bugged out lol. I love how you teach the patterns to look for the balance. Once that is establised patterns flow. Great video, thank you. Can't find the written pattern on Yarnspirations or Crochet Crowd and yes I used your search engine wihtout a problem. Very easy to use, never had any troubles with it. I'm wondering if this pattern was removed for updating maybe?? Curious. Thank you Mikey, again great great job.

    I am currently working on this. I am on round 5. In the beginning of round 5 at the first corner he says dc, chain two, dc. At the end of round 5 he says, dc, chain 1, dc. Should this be chain twos or chain 1? Thanks.

      I am at that same spot 19:25 in the video and I'm thinking it is an error. I believe there should only be one chain stitch between the two double crochets to make a V stitch. Correct? Excellent video by the way....I'm learning as I go and your explanations really help!

    • @jonnapierce1805
      @jonnapierce1805 6 років тому

      Katrina Nurse yes, that is correct. It is one stitch not two. I finally finished mine. Good luck!

    I was finally able to get the hang of bpdc by watching this video for this blanket. My one criticism is that you need to slow down just a bit for the benefit of those of us who can’t crochet like lightning like you do. Even tho we can slow down the video speed ourselves, it would help if you could do the same. Otherwise, it was great! 👍

    Can you tell me how to make this larger? Which rows would I repeat? Thanks for the tutorial and your help!!

    • @Yarnspirations
      @Yarnspirations  5 років тому

      Hi, Pam!
      To make this blanket bigger you will continue the repeat as noted below until you has the size desired:
      Rep 15th to 18th rnds for pat, noting rep in [ ] will be repeated 1 more time in subsequent rnds, until Blanket measures 30" [76 cm] square, ending on 16th rnd of pat. Fasten off.
      Happy crafting!

    the yarn and hook you are using doesn't look like what the pattern calls for..what are you using

  • @CostaWanti
    @CostaWanti 7 років тому +2

    You made a mistake with the picots at the first spray😱 you made 9 where there should be 8... but other then that I really love it 😍

    • @kathleenschilling9365
      @kathleenschilling9365 6 років тому +1

      9 is correct. I'm half way through making this and having 9 is necessary for the next round.

    • @GEvo586
      @GEvo586 5 років тому +1

      The pattern does only ask for 8. Even diagram states 8. it balances if the last double crochet does not have picot on as indicated in the pattern. Suppose it is how you feel 8/9 not going to make much difference.
