    I liked the presentation. Better than most because she did not ramble on about non relevant things. What I missed was when there is a line at the coffee maker and everyone wants a 16oz. cup, what is the wait time and how do you do multiple cups.

    I just got mine. It’s at least 8 years old. Works great and we quickly became coffee snobs lol. Never want to spend money at a coffee shops any more when I can make something as good or better at home.

    The froth spout tips outward so a larger cup can be used on the counter

    Sadly, the top of the machine is NOT a cup warmer. Also, if your cup is too large to fit under the foam frother you can place the cup next to the machine and tilt the frother to the right. If you want a huge cup of coffee you can press and hold the button and it will just keep going(the screen will ask: "enough coffee?") You can make Ristretto's the same way; just press and hold the button on espresso, when the screen asks "enough coffee?" and the first few drops of espresso come out you have to let go of the button and push it again.

    I notice that you don't use the Claris filter in the Jura but filter with a Maeva. Can you comment on the relative merits of both? My tap water has medium hardness. Thanks!

    I was given a Jura C65 for my birthday and this was so helpful! At last, I understand how to use my milk frothing pitcher and to change the settings. Thank you so much!

    Not sure if it’s been asked before but I’ve my first espresso machine, Jura C60, and am wondering when making espresso, how volume affects caffeine. For example, on espresso strong, do I get the same caffeine from 1oz as 2, 3, 4, etc. with flavor diluting with increased volume or how does that work?

    Is there a break down on which models are best suited by volume?
    Home use vs office?

    Hi! Just found this video which is very helpful. Question, it looks like the most you can fill a cup up is 8 oz?? Is there any way to make it fill up more without having to make a 2nd cup? My husband likes a mug of coffee - about 12 oz.

    • @FrickDude824
      @FrickDude824 6 років тому

      Joyce Rivera I don't believe they allow more than 8 Oz (my other Jura machine) as that would dilute the coffee too much and make it tastes very watered down. There's only so much room for the coffee grounds per cup.

    How do you know if beans are oily? I usually buy coffee at Trader Joe's. Can you wipe excess oil?

    • @FrickDude824
      @FrickDude824 6 років тому

      Jasmin Jimeno It is very obvious when looking at the beans at the store. Costco has a few bags that have clear sections which allow you to view the beans and when you compare some are vary dark and oily vs others that are more of a dark brown and that would be your desired medium roasts vs the French roast/dark roasts.

    Which one produce better straight shot c60 or intelia deluxe? Which one you recommend

    • @SeattleCoffeeGear
      @SeattleCoffeeGear  7 років тому +2

      Hi Tony, straight up shot quality is going to be pretty similar, although the c60 allows for the higher dosing between the two. It mainly comes down to the features you're looking for. We did a comparison video of these two machines: ua-cam.com/video/VFrupv8rrzo/v-deo.html

    These Jura machines need to be opened and the brew group serviced every year or two. It is easy to do and only takes about two hours. You need a special tool to remove the oval head screws. Complete instructions are on you tube and the parts necessary (O-rings) and oval head screw tool are readily available from shopjuraparts.com or jura-parts.com If you do not do the service, the brew group piston seals will eventually fail and you will get error code 8. It is very simple for an average DIY person. If not, you can send it off to be serviced for about $350.00. If you do it yourself, about $25 to $35.

      mguerramd good to know. We've had our at the office for ever. Have never had it serviced. We'll have to look into doing this ourselves
