what rig you recommend is best for trigs ... a porgy rig w smaller type hooks or what??

I use hi-lo rig with mustad #4 beak hooks, like the ones you would use for blow fish.

@@FiskerOutdoorAdventures i wonder if they're sold pre made at east end so I can get look of the lay out and tie my own I mean I know its basic looper knots and what not but just want to get an idea

If you ever hook one of those bait stealing bergalls, consider keeping it (if it's not too tiny). They are similar to blackfish in a number of ways including how they taste, nice white firm meat. Here in Maine they call them Cunner and they used to be a more popular food fish than they are today. Since they are small, I would either just gut them or both gut them and remove the head. Then either bake it or cook it stovetop in a pan. After it is cooked the skin slides right off the meat if you don't want to eat it. Then lift the meat right off the bone.
