There was some really good picks on here! Cornerstone is one of the best low budget videos ever. Probably cost 20 bucks to make if that. And Bob Dylan's video was actually the first music video ever made, accidentally. It's not really what he was going for, but he sure started it. Though OK GO's video is the definite number one, even if they're not anywhere near the other two artists in my book. It was just so clever and gave their band a second breath that has kept going.
Cornerstone at the eight position? They have used only a light that they had buyed from 0,99cents The red sweather is from Alex's grandma and the camera was stolen by Matt and Nick
ironic speling technically I didnt call her repulsing, I said the comment she left was repulsing, which in essence is just me saying I don’t like what she had to post
It actually had a pretty high budget so it wouldn't qualify. They were supposed to shoot a much more elaborate video but saw the guy in the video dancing in between takes and decided to roll with that instead.
"LOW BUDGET" ----------------5:05 "..using 32 identical drum kits & 16 microphone stands" & also filming in a metro/subway with all that. Real low budget, guys
Ezy_Films considering rap videos are usually *about* the money, that’s what makes it creative. That he was able to do it all for free, negating the whole point of most of those vids lol
It's the technique of filming the song sped up which gives the apperance of slow motion. They use this technique in reverse for "the scientist" this technique had not been used much at the time.
The End of the World as We Know It by R.E.M. should be on this list. It’s honestly a super cool video and it’s low budget. One of my favorite music videos of all time.
Some of these can't even be that low budget unless they had free help. Button To Button may not have used digital effects but surely those actual multiple drumkits and amps must have cost quite a bit. And that daylights video can't have been that cheap. There's definitely some prop and set work going on there..and that shower would have destroyed that keyboard..
never realised that was spike in praise you. makes it feel less cringey knowing that it was actually manufactured. deserved #1. always loved that video/song.
sorry what?? how does the Ok Go video, with it's incredible choreography (literally winning awards), in which all four members in unison almost perfectly look "fairly improvised"?!
Queen "Bohemian Rhapsody" the most expensive element was the paycheck for the director. Taken in the directors photo studio, filmed with the rented video set.
One of my personal favorites that did not make it to the list, Red Fang's video for "Prehistoric Dog". It is a pretty good piece of low budget movie magic.
All of Birdtalker's videos could go on this list. They're an indie band with not much budget but they make great videos! Especially for their song "Autodomesticated Animal" where they asked fans to send in footage of themselves singing and dancing along to the song.
Any Primus video. But especially Mr Krinkle. They gathered a lot of friends and hired some people, put them in a warehouse, and made them do stunts in a one-shot video. They could only have four takes. The result was an epic vid.
I saw cornerstone so I must watch
Samr goes here
Me too
Exactly the same
We think alike I see
YEE
I'm an Alex Turner, I see a simple woman, I click
AdzBrandMusic OMG

There was some really good picks on here! Cornerstone is one of the best low budget videos ever. Probably cost 20 bucks to make if that. And Bob Dylan's video was actually the first music video ever made, accidentally. It's not really what he was going for, but he sure started it.
Though OK GO's video is the definite number one, even if they're not anywhere near the other two artists in my book. It was just so clever and gave their band a second breath that has kept going.
Sketchead!
"Low Budget" - Using 32 different drums sets and amps.....
You can call me al should have been number 1
The music video itself
32 custom made identical drum sets to match the White Strips looks were all borrowed?
That is true
It looks like that video took super long to shoot as well.
Conerstone is the 🐐 of cheap music videos. It just goes very well with the song
Yeah, it does!
i'm a simple pizza, i see alex turner i click
pizza grid ik he looks familiar
Cornerstone at the eight position?
They have used only a light that they had buyed from 0,99cents
The red sweather is from Alex's grandma and the camera was stolen by Matt and Nick
And the mic thingy from Jamie
It's as basically free
im a simple woman.....i see Alex Turner, i click.
soph karps Me
Im a simple man, I see this kind of repulsing comments, I dislike
Elio Decolli REPULSING?! Hahahaha
Elio Decolli this chaps a weird donny. Calls u repulsing and then says hell hide under your bed
ironic speling technically I didnt call her repulsing, I said the comment she left was repulsing, which in essence is just me saying I don’t like what she had to post
Where is Lonely boy by the black keys?
Daniel Green How they could
I thought the same thing. Such a great video for 50 bucks (
It actually had a pretty high budget so it wouldn't qualify. They were supposed to shoot a much more elaborate video but saw the guy in the video dancing in between takes and decided to roll with that instead.
Lol, i was looking for this comment
You have to spent some money to buy that black dude
Using 32 identical drum kits and amps.... yeah, sounds super low budget
Drums alone it could at least be 15k right there
What mv???
Where is New Light by John Mayer?
Esteban Rezarpi ikr
I heard It wasn’t cheap it cost him like $500 or more idk
It's great though
Agree
lmao I clicked only because I want to see new light. Bye I guess..
I thought i saw you in the battleship, but it was only a lookalike
Under the warning light
she was close, close enough to be your ghost
But my chances turned to toast
When I asked if I could her your name
I thought I saw you in the rusty hook
NO "BITTERSWEET SYMPHONY" BY THE VERVE?!?
It's just walking on a street though. Hardly creative.
Yellow is just a man walking on a beach. Praise You is just a bunch of idiots dancing.
GoldNinja Vlogspot
Did you not hear that the entire video was improvised due to nature?
the creative point is that the bunch of idiots and the guerilla style filming make Praise you look first hand like a home made video
35 mm film is not cheap, as is not cheap emting the whole street.
"LOW BUDGET" ----------------5:05 "..using 32 identical drum kits & 16 microphone stands" & also filming in a metro/subway with all that. Real low budget, guys
>low budget
>32 identical drum kits and amps
>16 microphone stands
When it comes to music video, OK GO always take it seriously. All of their music videos are legit and super creative.
OK go
*Low Budget
*Needs 35 drum sets
*And like 100 stereos
Ummmmmmmmm Lil Dicky...Save Dat Money.............
👏🏾👏🏾
Literally the cheapest lol
gloomyprincess _ Right
gloomyprincess _ but it’s a normal rap music video with no money
Ezy_Films considering rap videos are usually *about* the money, that’s what makes it creative. That he was able to do it all for free, negating the whole point of most of those vids lol
Cornerstone gets all positions from 10 to 1. Honourable mentions as well. The Cornerstone thumbnail lured me here
Richard Ayoade directed Cornerstone?? This made my day :D
How the hell is literally any Deathgrips video not on here
Actually cornerstone was a joke video that the rest of the band used as a prank on Alex
Surprised The Hell Song by Sum 41 wasn't mentioned at all.
Walking on the beach... Soooo creative....
Nos Ikr 😂 also Chris Martin looks six years old I'd rather not watch his face for four minutes.
a guy the lyrics are pretty good, so is his voice.
It's clearly the only Coldplay song WatchMojo know
It's the technique of filming the song sped up which gives the apperance of slow motion. They use this technique in reverse for "the scientist" this technique had not been used much at the time.
Nos well that's the power of music
I love how Cornerstone is the thumbnail 😂
Cornerstone is just an amazing song. Awesome video too haha
The End of the World as We Know It by R.E.M. should be on this list. It’s honestly a super cool video and it’s low budget. One of my favorite music videos of all time.
It had to be OK Go
The Black Keys - Lonely Boy
Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know ?
Radiohead - No Surprises ?

I'm still doing low budget music videos, it's Fun!! The simple videos here are Very Effective
Meshuggah - millenium cyanide christ it's litarelly the band air guitaring and air druming with the vocalist holding a pen instead of a mic look it up
Alexandre 12 I was looking for this, not disappointed. That microphone/pen...
Meshuggah: "guys, we want to make a video, can you give us some money?"
Nuclear Blast: "the best that we can do is 15$"
Mushaggah: "ok."
slucchi723 😂😂
Loook up death drip giving bad people good ideas they are just destroying a shoe
Yeah, but I think they mean good music videos tho.
I'm glad it rained when they were recording yellow. I love that video.

Where the hell is bitter sweet symphony! That is possibly the most iconic music video of all time and it cost near to nothing.
“The most iconic video of all time??” I mean, it’s cool for what it is, but the best of ALL TIME? Hardly
never realised that was spike in praise you. makes it feel less cringey knowing that it was actually manufactured.
deserved #1. always loved that video/song.
sorry what?? how does the Ok Go video, with it's incredible choreography (literally winning awards), in which all four members in unison almost perfectly look "fairly improvised"?!
Goner and Car Radio by Twenty One Pilots are both incredibly low budget music videos that should've received some recognition
#1 was the first thing that came to my mind when I read this list.
As cool as the White Stripes one is, I don’t think it’s low budget.
The Lonely Boy video by the Black Keys is literally a guy dancing in front of a camera for 3 minutes.... and its top tier
Walking on a beach, during a sunrise, yellow style, but with the love of my life is on my bucket list
THE WAY THE CORNERSTORE VIDEO WAS THE PICTURE FOR THE VIDEO I CANTT
i saw cornerstone and had to click you know it
After seeing this video, you should make a top 10 "Fan Made" items.. Movie Trailers, Music Videos, Movie posters, idk, etc...
what we learn from this video: Richard Ayoade is incredible and so very very talented.
I came here to see OK Go on #1 and I left satisfied.
Queen "Bohemian Rhapsody" the most expensive element was the paycheck for the director. Taken in the directors photo studio, filmed with the rented video set.
WHERE THE HELL IS SAVE DAT MONEY???!!!!!!
I’m a simple man. I see Alex Turner, I click
One of my personal favorites that did not make it to the list, Red Fang's video for "Prehistoric Dog". It is a pretty good piece of low budget movie magic.
You forgot Lonely Boy by The Black Keys. It was literally 1 take of an old security dude dancing to the song
I knew immediately OK GO would be on here and they damn well deserve it :)
All of Birdtalker's videos could go on this list. They're an indie band with not much budget but they make great videos! Especially for their song "Autodomesticated Animal" where they asked fans to send in footage of themselves singing and dancing along to the song.
That Thumbnail Moves A Lot Of People To Click You Know 😉
Blink 182 - the rock show
John Mayer - New Light
The Black Keys - Lonely Boy

Any Primus video.
But especially Mr Krinkle. They gathered a lot of friends and hired some people, put them in a warehouse, and made them do stunts in a one-shot video. They could only have four takes. The result was an epic vid.

Okay, I SERIOUSLY am starting to think Yellow is the only Coldplay song this channel knows. Especially on the UK channel
Wheres meshuggah "new Millenium cyanide christ"? That video Was undoubtely free

Peach pit - Seventeen shoulda been on here
The theory that Al made this for fun and Matt and all found it and posted it seems so true I cannot
You didn't mention Allen Ginsberg in the background of Bod Dylan's Subteranian Homesick Blues video
Very surprised I Can Talk by Two Door Cinema Club wasn't mentioned at all in the list, not even in the honourable mentions.
