    Jerim, Out of all the DIY's I have seen for the stamping tool, yours is the best. Your instructions are spot on and easy to follow. I love the use of the LEGOS. I think that there must be at least 150 pounds of them around here. I loved that you allowed your little girl to join you.

      One question, What is the thickness of the acrylic you used? Where did you get it? OOOPS, sorry that was 2 questions! haha

    I've seen a lot of "make your own misti" you tube DIY, most of which are annoying. Yours is SO cute, and very well done! Thank you.
    I love the music as well. I will make the pink one, it's adorable!

    I enjoyed this video more than any I've seen recently. In addition to a great savings in making the pseudo-misti, the music is lovely, your hands are refreshingly well groomed, and the "uninvited guest" is absolutely delightful! Looking forward to seeing her cardmaking career take off!. Thank you so much! PS - I'm a USA new fan; have subscribed and am looking forward to more videos.

    Hi Jerim
    Loved the video and using Legos is a brilliant idea !!! My boy (who is 17 yrs old now) has literally thousands I can play with.
    Where did you get the plastic hinges? I would love to try your version. Wish I had a tiny helper such as you have....maybe
    I can get my 17 yr old to be my helper!!! Thanks for the video!!!

    Now I know what to do with all the Legos I step on and throw away cause they hurt the feet. Thanks, will try it! Rule in the house, if I step on it, it gets thrown away (most of the time) ☺

      ***** I don't stamp a lot so it would suit me, but I watched a video about a certain photo frame you can get from Ikea that is almost like an A4 size Misti but no measurement marks etc made from wood with hard plastic front for $6.99 so I got one and it's amazing ! I would love a real Misti and it is such a great invention but it's just too expensive to get in Australia especially as our dollar is not going too well :( have a nice day

    Help so confused. I ordered my clear hinges and glue. But not sure about grid paper or clear plastic. Is the grid paper glued on. I need to know what you used so I can have alll the supplies. Thank you for the video.

      Thank you I went on Amazon and after an hour of searching and putting in different wording I found some grid paper well clear plastic under quilting supplies.

    • @juliecoe5100
      @juliecoe5100 8 років тому

      Thank you very much! So you need 2 acrylic sheets of the same size for this project then. I am thinking of making an A4 size one as I think A5 maybe a bit too small for me. Thank you again! Going to buy all the material now. ^_^

    • @juliecoe5100
      @juliecoe5100 8 років тому

      +Jerim Dickins (WillowPiggy) Yes, I've seen that video before. Now looking at it again, it seems a lot easier to change to the size you require. But where did you get such a big lego board? The one my daughter has is square and not as long as a A4.

    • @juliecoe5100
      @juliecoe5100 8 років тому

      Ha! Sorry just notice it is from Wilko and I guess it works with the original Lego brand bricks too! I have to rethink. It might save me gluing all those Lego bricks together. My daughter might not be very happy if I steal her bricks and glue them together! Ha ha!

    I have to say that if I owned the company that makes the original Misti I would sue you for stealing my idea. It doesn't seem ethical to use another person's idea for you own.

    • @tainadelcaribe
      @tainadelcaribe 8 років тому +7

      +Mary Kay Really? That works only if she makes them to sell them. Besides there are over 20 other videos making them in different ways using the same idea. There is also a company that sells the same exact product as the supposedly original for cheaper and they are really making the exact replica just in a different color. And you decide to come to this video to comment negatively? You need to go find something better to do with your time!

    • @meduza65

      I suggest you research Patent Laws sunshine. This version has multiple differences and would NOT violate her so called Patent that she keeps threatening folks with.

    • @jlemonni36
      @jlemonni36 8 років тому

      +Jerim Dickins (WillowPiggy) Jerim also says clearly in this comment section that she owns a Misti which her opinion is better if you are going to stamp frequently. I honestly could not afford to buy a Misti so there is no harm in making a simpler version for myself. Also people have been using empty CD/DVDs cases for years as stamp positioners so although the Misti is an original product the idea is an improvement on an existing idea.
