Cut the spam VERY thin. Like cheap bacon thin. Fry it in a pan or put it in the oven, but the oven makes it nowhere near as crispy. Tadaa! Bacon spam. I've been eating it this way for most of my life. I prefer it way more than normal thicker cuts.

Kind of late to the video... I was born and raised in Hong Kong but moved to Hawaii so this video was endearing! From what I remembered, the Nissin 出前一丁 instant noodle has always been around and whenever instant noodle is mentioned, it's often implied that it's Demae Iccho. Sesame flavor is the original flavor for Demae Iccho but I remember there were other flavors that are pretty good too. I'm not sure if I answered your question but I enjoyed this video a lot.
Yum, I love spam. Very true spam is very versatile. I have made spam tacos; potatoes, eggs, and spam;added spam to my salad; BLT- I used spam instead of bacon, so it was slt. Thank you for the videos, great job, and much love.

A family favorite Spam recipe: One can of Spam cut up and placed into a food processor with one or a mix of your favorite cheeses (for us cheddar and jack or mozzarella) about a half cup. Grind the mixture a few pulses to get it going then add mayonnaise but not too much. Then grind again until a not so smooth paste. It should still have some tooth not be completely smooth. That is the basic, but you can do additions like mustard or ketchup or both, you can add a spoon or two of dill pickle relish or a small can of pimentos etc. Versatile stuff, eat off crackers or good quality white bread to make a great sandwich. Enjoy.
Hello my two favorite UA-cam foodies! My grandfather makes Spam a lot I’m not sure if he loves it because he was in the Navy & maybe they were given that to eat in WWII or it was a generation thing but one way he makes it is he uses leftover veggies from a roast beef dinner or roast chicken dinner which usually are: roasted carrots, potatoes, onions both cooked & raw, mashes them coarsely and mashed the Spam too. Mix together & flatter into a slightly greased frying pan when edges are crisp & golden flip & continue to crisp that side too. He added lots of fresh black pepper & all of us grandchildren add ketchup on top we love it, it’s basically a spam hash. Hope you try it he also drops eggs on top & covers with a lid so the egg is also like a poached egg on top. Yum!
Our favorite way to cook spam is ... Spam, rice and pineapple with green beans. I fry up the spam ,pineapple and green beans then I mix in the rice . Yum! Leftovers? I never happens.
