My favorite is the tuna pancake
I have to eat cheap because groceries are really expensive here in South Korea
I love how real this is. "I don't usually decorate but I will since the camera is on" and "I bought this mayo nozzle for aesthetics on camera" and "Use whatever is in your kitchen". It's the perfect relaxed cooking. I look forward to more videos. I have a ton of canned sardines instead of tuna so I dunno if I can use it this way (sad).
Xin any ideas on where I can purchase that plastic bottle or nozzle?
@@kimvang312 If you get kewpie mayonnaise, it usually has the nozzle on the bottle already. (to my memory)
Sardines will be just as good!
In fact,I'll bet these recipes taste great with most pre cooked (And cooled overnight in a fridge) sea foods.
Albeit chopped up fine,so that they'll cook at the same speed as the canned tuna!
Let's have some fun guys and gals!
i tried the patties with sardines and they were very delicious
Canned chicken works as well, if you're in the US. It's what we have in our pantry, more than tuna. That and mackerel.
The real hero of this kind of video is actuall Claire! She eats every dish with gusto! So supportive!
Bui Tran Nhu Phuong - And then she does the cleaning up! Definitely the hero.
the sunken hero...shame always in limbo and twilght, always waiting for that special dish that will never come
@@Timeisirrelevant why not? It's honest if one family's member cooks then others washing dishes.

Finally made the Tuna Mayo Rice and Tuna Pancakes with the Korean Pancake Mix....all I can say is, you have proven "simple is best"...and have reminded us of my dear husband, a chef like yourself, who could make something out of nothing... he passed away last year, and we miss him dearly; but you have reminded us of his best qualities, including his resourcefulness...Thank you so much for sharing your talents 🙇♀️
gotta tell ya - the tuna pancakes have become a regular part of my diet & feel like comfort food. thank you so much for the recipe!
Uhh are you still alive or did you get mercury poisoning
Give the same thing a try but instead of canned tuna, give canned salmon a run. Top notch baby!
"I bet your canned tuna is covered in dust, right?"
Me:... aha...sure,... totally not ate it four days in a row...no way...... yup...dusty...
CosimasNiehaus Four days in a row? Not bad..🤣🤣🤣🤣
😆😆😆
CosimasNiehaus dang , Coranas got you stuck eating canned tuna?
right ??? i usually mix the tuna with mayo to make little tuna cracker sandwiches, they are the perfect snack
@@emanymton713 I myself am a fan of canned tuna so sometimes I ate it two or three days in a row
Finally, some realistic quarantine recipes!
Mariana Gaioso haha 😅😅 Thanks! 👍

What? Dumbest shit I've ever read lmao
I’m wonder if you realized you’re not funny yet.
Claire’s reaction + immediately smashing it up really adds to it
I’ve been eating a lot of tuna sandwiches bc of this quarantine and that’s the only thing I know how make lol I’m glad I came across this to increase my options
We were in the same boat - two bites into the fried rice we made after watching this and we know there will be no more boring tuna sandwiches for us for the remainder of this quarantine!
I love how you use ingredients most of us have in the kitchen already or give replacements for things that are hard to find (o:
Not gonna lie, I spent two years stationed in South Korea, and hands down, they have some of the best food in the world. Thanks for this channel, my friend!
Korean food is my favorite!
your channel is so underrated omg
Jessica Chen Please share our channel with your friends😍😍
Yea for real this is some high quality food porn
I couldn't agree more! Its amazing content!
I can't believe people will let tuna just sit in their pantry...I literally eat Tuna with EVERYTHING! and my favourite is tuna sauce with spaghetti( I cook the sauce by frying onions/garlic/ tomatoes and spices)...I love love love it😋
Give me the recipe
Omg, I cook this too!!!!! Is sooo goodd!!!
@Leather Lace Yupp agree with that. So if you do consume more tuna in your diet you can buy canned tuna that come from smaller fish that have less mercury. Like avoid albacore and reach for the light tuna or chunk light. You can Google some more about it to figure out which brands have the least mercury :).
my fave is tuna pasta, yümm...😊
@Leather Lace i can here to comment that to warn ppl
I love how you target people looking for easy dishes but then try to give tips to make them more comfortable with cooking. Its awesome!
I wasn't feeling well, low on groceries, and came here to find I had all the ingredients for the porridge. It was like a hug! 🍲

I love your videos!!! I just made the tuna pancakes and my man kissed and hugged me a lot as he ate them, and kept telling me how great they were and how happy it made him. :D I always cook dinner and he enjoys it but I rarely get such an intense reaction and so much affection for it!!
Thank you, Aaron and Claire!
1thingtosay1 That's soooo lovely. I'm so happy for you. I should pin this!! 😍😍😍
@@AaronandClaire he keeps mentioning how great it still smells in our apartment and says next time we shop he will prioritize tuna cans, hehe 😍💖
This is so sweet!! ;;
@Norm T Not the same thing at all!!
@Norm T Green onion and leeks are absolutely NOT the same thing... What are you even on?
I love Claire’s bilingual reactions to such delicious dishes. And Aaron your humour is a riot, and your suggestions have taught me so much! My family loves your dishes, even my grandson who likes everything spicy 🌶. Thank you guys so much 🙏⭐️
I love the confidence you give your viewers. It's like you read our minds and dumb it down even more so we will be more confident when there's any doubt lol
I want to take Claire's place. She's so so so lucky
I'm a straight man but I'd consider marrying Aaron if it meant getting fed tons of Korean food like this.
@Lance Knight cuz korean food is amazing and if getting sweaty with Aaron means getting to eat these 6 foods it seems worth it to me
You can take her role on washing the dishes
You guys are crazy!! LMAO!! 😄😄😄🤣🤣
I need that mayo dispenser like right now.

I got that mayo dispenser after watching this video and it's one of my favorite things in the kitchen now.
I'll just make my own
Think I’ve seen it at Daiso
Tuna Mayo Rice is dinner for the family tonight. I’ve made it for myself several times, but didn’t know anyone else would be interested. One bite from my wife and she goes “WHY HAVE YOU BEEN HOLDING OUT ON US?!”
I’ll move to Korea and switch places with Claire to get some homemade fast and different dishes served to me. Thanks Aaron.
Am I the only one who's curious about the the mayo dispensing thing?
It looks really cool!

Daiso, Japanese dollar store
This is actually pretty cool, cause i never knew you could do so mich with tuna fish, but all these dishes look amazing and I'm gonna have to try and make them.
YES!!! Clair is blessed and so are you! The reactions of my friends and family make me ENJOY cooking! 🥰🥰🥰
Started following your food tutorial hacks recently and I absolutely love them. I've always wondered how I could make tuna more interesting and you've inspired me to try making these! Thank you! I also love your commentary and video editing to how you put your video's together. Thanks also for making it easy for those like me who don't really cook/amateur.. you keep it simple and most importantly remind us to use what we already have or substitute with alternative ingredients too. You are a great cook and teacher, Claire is very good at reviewing your dishes too and telling us what she thinks. I love both your humour too! Keep it up and can't wait to continue to watch more.

I like this series of "(number) of EASY (one common ingredient) recipes" !! You guys do a great job in this! Makes me want to watch many more!! Thank you! Also Claire is so funny, you guys are adorable!

Aaron & Claire's Korea Omg i came back to write down some recipes on my phone and you gained SOOO many subscribers!! Congrats you guys! Great work! Thank you for helping to feed us!! 🎉
Really good content! Production quality, time spent on each step, and narration is perfect. I really enjoy seeing quick home recipes, which are more approachable than purist authentic recipes. Anyways, thanks for the recipes.
I just found this channel recently, and I love how excited she gets when she sees the food
Why did this channel not exist like 1 year ago when I was still at uni? 😭
I thought I'd need to go shopping but I do indeed have all of the ingredients for every of the recipes at home already. This makes me so hungry but I need to wait until tomorrow.

@@emilybryyson9562 GREAT idea! Only problem is I wouldn't stop eating 😂
I wonder if Claire has ever told Aaron that she didn't like a dish. That would be funny on camera.

I love how real you guys are!
My favorite (I imagine) is the tuna golden fried rice. I'll have to cook it to know for sure. You are a motivator, Aaron....and Claire convinces me it's tasty.
Please try me!
Stir fried tune
All you need is:
-Canned tuna
-Onion(depending on how much you want)
-1-2 cloves of garlic
-1½tbsp of light soy sauce
-1 tbsp of Calamansi/lemon juice
-Fresh ground pepper and salt to taste
Chilli powder(optional)
Procedures:
Fry the garlic until light brown and add the onion after that
Add tuna and everything else, mix well
Cook until thicc homogeneous substance
And eat it with rice
Now this is a good quarantine cooking video.
I just found you guys in the past month or so and love your videos so much! I made the udon and it was super quick, easy and delicious. I was extra lazy and used the flavor packet instead of making a sauce but I have to imagine Aaron would say, "Don't worry about it!" I already feel like a better cook after making a few of your recipes, thank you for the awesome content.
The Tuna pancakes are amazing ! Finally got around to making them..so filling, nutritious and delicious!
I'm very interested in the korean pancakes as I love the contrast of crunchiness of the outside and chewiness of the inside. :)
Frederick Maulion I love that contrast, too! You should give it a try sometime! 😆
Same here! I love korean pancakes when my friends and I go to kbqq but I don't know how to make it. But this recipe doesn't look so bad to try and make, plus I should have some tuna laying around lol
Claire is so lucky, she gets called into the room and BOOM, food is waiting for you! Love it!
Ikr that's what I want! 🥰
Just want you both to know I'm loving all your recent videos and have tried a few recipes and they were great! The tuna pancakes were surprisingly delicious and not fishy! Thanks for keeping the content coming 🖤 as someone who cooks a lot I can get bored and burnt out easily especially now so your videos have really helped give me some new things to experiment with! Hope you two are doing well!
So glad to hear it. Hope you like them all! 😊
I come back to this video like once a week for the tuna pancakes! They always come in handy when I have nothing else! 💜
The recipe that keeps me buying tuna every month or so:
-2-3 cans of tuna
-cream of mushroom (to taste, i use 2/3 a can)
-bit of soy sauce
-bit of salt & pepper
(mix all that in a bowl)
-a tube of those pre-cut crescent rolls (spread those out on an oven safe pan)
-put a big spoonful of the tuna mix in the middle of the crescents and roll them up (i find it easier to wrap it up gently into a rounder shape)
-bake on 350° for 12-14 minutes.
Enjoyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy you can add stuff if u want it’s flexible!!!
warning: tuna has a ton of mercury. avoid or limit n research
Gray sounds good i will try this

Jenny Bojczuk Thank you for saying that 😍😍
I have a ton of canned sardines in my cabinet from when I told my mom that I liked sardines. It would be cool to make a vid about ways to incorporate sardines in dishes. Great vid btw I’ll definitely use this to cook the extra canned tuna I have laying in my cabinet next to the sardines. 👍
Beautiful and delicious! Thanks for sharing 💙💙💙

That Stir-fried Noodles with Tuna is definitely something I'm going to be trying soon. It looked so good! I'll just have to use ramen instead of udon since that's what we have on hand.

I got that same brand of pancake mix at my local Asian market and I love how my tuna pancakes turned out! I added the other half of my chopped onion and chili pepper to the sauce so it pickled a bit while I was cooking the pancakes. They tasted amazing with the chunks of fresh onion, peppers, and dipping sauce on them. I want to try the tuna noodle stir fry next since I love cabbage and noodles together! Thanks for the recipes

Thanks for the recipes Aaron & Claire. I suggest you try tuna mixed with diced green onion, minced chili peppers, garlic paste, softened cream cheese, soy sauce, pinch of sugar, salt and white pepper. Stuff inside wonton wrappers, deep fry OR stuff inside inside dumpling dough steam then pan fry. This works with tuna, shrimp, smoked fish or even mixed seafood. Don't forget the dipping sauce. You will fight to have the last one.
happend to see this video just now and immediately, went down to see if i have canned tuna. excited to try all recipes, thank you!
