I purchased this game last summer and quickly realized my old 1060 GTX 6 gig card just wasn't enough for this game. The best video card I've ever owned lasted 5 years of gaming. Once I upgraded to a 3060 the game looked really nice but, it was still the same boring gameplay loop. Grind, grind, grind, everything looked the same and I never felt like I was progressing. I will say while watching your video I have seen some changes like repairing the engines looks a lot different than before and some new machines as well. I might give it another look after 1.0.
Interesting drop time. I played this for less than a dozen hours soon after early release, then uninstalled. Just yesterday I was musing over reinstalling again and trying out some of the newish stuff, but for every reason you just described here... yeah, needs more time in the oven.
Evewy awea is vewy vewy distinct it's not a speech impediment because he absolutely can pronounce his r's just fine. If you didn't pick up on that then just listen.
I don't buy early access games anymore. I stopped in 2022 after waiting as much as 10 years for early access games to finally leave development hell. I'm over it. I will always wait for a final version of a game, and I will only buy it after watching a lot of gameplay video, reviews, and investigation. I will not have my money, or my time wasted by "indie" game developers who get a free pass. No thanks. I prefer to buy high quality products.
I agree for the most part but Valheim is and Grounded was fantastic early access games....grounded especially and I wish I could play Valheim for them first time again.
@@Nyxson In all seriousness though I love subnautica and forever sky but forever skies isn't subnautica, I myself wrote a positive review saying it is very similar to subnautica because most people who enjoyed subnautica would likely enjoy Forever skies but that doesn't mean they are comparable maybe just consider that when writing your reviews, games don't have to be carbon copies to be enjoyable, I also consider it close to pacific drive despite the gameplay being almost nothing like each other it is the survival aspect
An open world survival crafting indie game - tedious? I could never imagine! I'm honestly so bored of the entire genre. You can keep changing the setting, but everyone is just polishing the same turd at this point.
@@Erosgates I would still recommend you try the demo, everyone opinion is different and I personally love the game a lot. Plus the demo is free so there's nothing to lose, and who knows you might love the game to.
*YEAH ITS TOTALLY LIKE SUBNAUTICA BECAUSE THE "ESCAPE FROM HOSTILE PLANET TO YOUR HOMEPLANET BY CRAFTING AND SURVIVING" HAS NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE SUBNAUTICA AS EARLY AS THE OG UNREAL.* why not call it a bioshock: infinite ripoff too? i mean its a city high above and it has an airship! wait, its dystopic in a ruined city? METRO RIPOFF! DONT PLAY THIS!

Looks like they just released a ""major overhaul"" focusing on increasing early game QOL. Would you check it out and do a quick mini-review-update?
It seems more like Raft than Subnautica to me, but I haven't played it so...
Speaking of.. when a list of 27 survival games 👀
Gotta do it soon...

I think it's your hearing problem. Besides, don't you have anything better to do than discussing reviewers speech in a gaming video?!
You know, this game is great, but if they don't fix the low fps problem, this game will fail
Thanks. The hype train almost got me.
I'm waiting on the console release.

'high quality products' you mean half complete, buggy messes that triple a studios release?

Waiting for the PS5 release.
I loved this game and your opinion is invalid
😂😂😂😂

Would love you to be wrong... but... you are not.
Ps5 exclusive such a shame
?! You mean console exclusive? Because it's definitely on a PC
@Nyxson nope, coming to ps5 and not xbox and I know it's on pc what game isn't lol
Why would they put it on Xbox a dead console who's giving away all their exclusive titles
I just download a demo on PS5 …. Its awful😂 everything (controls, movement, graphics, sound, enviroment is joke) Subnautica is S tier compare to this
Hahaha thanks guess Ima stop the demo install right now

subnautica is S tier period..tf do you play cs go lol ?
You are speaking too fast for this thick accent
If you listen to him he absolutely can pronounce his R's just fine because he can say room but just about every other r he pronounced with a w
You never been to Scotland brother 😏☺️
