    King shocks with remote reservoirs are great for a long travel set up! There is just no performance gain by adding any of these parts to a Tundra. Bolt on Bilsteins and deavers on the back and you will have a nice freeway ride for half the cost!

    Come on fellow tundra owner, if you have King shocks there shouldn’t be any sway bars on there 😎. Great work as always guys, gonna bring my tundra there someday

      Hema Nigansz exactly. Probably going to be a mall crawler. Rear sway bar and kings makes me want to throw up in my mouth

      @tundrawhisperer4821 5 років тому

      Warren Anderson just curious you mention get rid of the sway bar, is this because it hurts the ride or something else?

    • @silexdebris
      @silexdebris 5 років тому +4

      Tundra Whisperer yes the rear sway bar is going to stiffen up the rear suspension and reduce some of the benefits that come from the upgraded shocks and springs (if they upgraded those). I would not remove the front sway bar unless it was for a short period of time while wheeling but i would never add a rear unless i was looking for more cornering stability on highways

    Were these King front coilovers on this build set to the max 3” height possible? Then the add a leaf was added to level the tundra? I’m needing to find out the best way to level my tundra when I do this set up. Thx

      Toyota could put a 3:55 rear end vs the current 4:30 but then you would complain about the lack of pull. lol It is just physics. Large V8 and low gearing equals low MPG but great pulling power and launch.

    It appears by the end result your shop does quality work however you don’t get a clear representation of the work performed due to the horrible camera pans, zooming in and out and the god awful music. This should be an informative/show and tell of what your business does and the craftsmanship behind it all, not a Michael Bay production. The videos are terrible and at the least uninformative. You guys should seriously consider firing the drama major Hollywood wannabe shooting and editing these videos. Why wouldn’t you want to have mechanics thoughts and opinions of products used and steps taken to complete the builds, including challenges and insights from the real professionals doing the work. This is more of an advertisement for your business to drum up customers, but on this platform you reach a much broader audience who aren’t going to drive a thousand miles to have your shop work on their vehicles. Something to consider and I’m sure any prospective sponsors would appreciate the publicity beyond just having their parts pictured in the video. Just read some of the comments, you will see that based on these videos there are many questions as to what is used and why, like offset, CMC insights and detailed explanation as to how to accomplish the desired goal. Maybe even include some insight as to the customers wants and desires and the reasons some things are done that maybe you don’t agree with but they want for one reason or another.
