No problem brother. I was on the phone with Jeff the owner and he told me where those go. Glad we can all benefit from a little here and there. Thx 4 watching
The truck looks amazing. I really want to do this exact setup. Same tires size and everything. The thing is, I put my truck in the garage. Can you tell me what's the height of your truck from the ground to the top of the roof?
18 inch rims, and the tires i went with 275/70/18. On my older videro i had 295/70/18, falken wildpeak at3w and they were rubbing my lower sway bars so i downgraded back to 275
That is a looking truck, with the lift kit. I have a 2021 TRD PRO am it seem like my stock tundra is squatting. What can I do to put the rake back in???? Only 160k miles on it. Bring it back to dealer and they told me it’s normal. Service writer sucks. They don’t know anything.
Wow it's sagging??? I would check your shocks or leaf springs to see if there's any damages. I've seen a tundra sag once it was because he loaded a 2k skid in the back, the tundra payload is only 1500. I would check for damage first then look into CB shackles. I would start from there.
Nice video, looking at doing the Westcott kit on my 21 Pro with 275/70/18’s… so I appreciate now knowing what the tire size would look like with a 3.5” lift
Thx 4 watching, if you haven't bought the tires yet. 285 may look better for this lift. 275 is just a tab to small. Im running the same tires size and was thinking about going to 285. In my other video's i ran 295 but they rub the sway bars.
@@sin4459 the 285’s are just a hair larger and I don’t like the tire poke outside of the wheel well. Maybe after I put in the Warn hidden winch plate I’ll add lift… I think the weight of winch and bumper drops front .25”.
This lift was about $550 and the installation was free because i had a buddy who did it with me. People shouldn't charge more 500 or so for this lift, its pretty easy and straightforward
@@sin4459 no problem sir . I put 285/75R18 (35 inch tire)Goodyear duratracs on my TRD PRO Tundra and also stuffed a spare one in my factory spare space. I plan on doing 5 tire rotations like a lot of jeep owners do.
Looks nice but not sure it's worth the extra strain on the truck and loss in MPG. Keeping my 2021 Tundra TRD pro stock for now. Thanks for doing the video.
@@sin4459 its the factory TRD PRO suspension, in your video I see you have the same reservoir, its attched the thr strut/coil sits right in front of the cv boot, with the westcott lift, when I turn the cv boot hits the reservoir and deatroyed both my CV boots
Both my CV boots are fine. No tears or wear. Ummmm.... that's strange that your boots was damaged. I still have space and room, they are not rubbing at all. I would reach out to jeff westcott and ask him. He replies fast on Instagram. The installation could of went wrong some where ( just guessing ) something had to gone wrong, maybe the parts? Reach out to him. Keep me posted. Sorry thats all i can advise you to do for now.
The collars was pretty easy, use a mallet to hammer off the old one, same process putting on the new one, it is going to take a little man power. Youll have to drop the skid plate ( if you have 1 ) and you'll have to completely unbolt your lower sway bars to get it to fit back in. Then go to a trustworthy alignment shop.
Wow.. usually the back is higher than the front. You can look into coachbuilder shackles in the rear. I have the CB +2 in the rear with 1.5 front lift from westcott. I wouldn't go to high without lifting the the front. If you lift the back to high you may encounter rake issues.
Hey Sin, Looks good. Question why you did not go with the coach builder pro lift. Just curious. Or is this the better way to keep the rear a hair higher? Thanks.
I originally wanted to do the whole westcott lift, but then i realized i wanted the bigger shackles from CB. It makes the truck would ride more smooth and less bumpy. Trust me youll feel the difference.
Im running 275/70/18. I think the 285 are perfect for this lift. But if you want to max it out. You can run 295/70/18 those will be the best if you want the big tire look. I plan to lite off road my truck so i wanted more wheel clearance.
Did you consider going for the entire Coachbuilders kit? I’m about to install that on my 2021 PRO. I didn’t wanna mess with the oem preload like what the Westcott kit does..
Yes i have... I consider going both ways. All CB kit or all westcott kit. I took what I like from both companies and put them together. A lot of people went with the same set up as I. To be honest once you install either or, your going to mess with the original geometry of the vehicle. But this set up on my truck is very smooth.
@@sin4459 Nice. How do you like the handling of the truck? I’m gonna install 35x12.5T18 KO2’s. I know it’ll be a downgrade in performance from the oem Michelin’s, but I need that stance that justifies it being a PRO… 🤣
Believe it or not, its not to bad. Cb shackles with westcott front lift was about $500 total. Rockslider and tires was totally of 2k. Ditch lights $180. The tailgate lock $170. Rims are a very long story. But they run a little over 2k at the time i got them.

Your suppose to put the sway bar once you have the truck on the ground
So keep the sway loose, drop it on the ground and then zip it back in place?
