Met an officer who was 6ft 3in and just pure muscle. Absolutely intimidating but he was probably the kindest person I’ve ever met. These big guys are big teddy bears when they need to and want to be
Even a scared teenager I’d have the same opinion especially abandoning a baby in such a place to die. You tell me ANYONE man or woman young or old did this? I would be outraged no matter what
a LOT of people around here felt the same way. everyone expected the mother to be some scared girl in her mid teens, not a woman in her 40s that already had other children.
My birth mother did the same thing to me when I was a baby. Just left me to die shortly after I was born. She was found but she was aggressive and admitted to wanting to kill me . I was found and taken to an orphange and stayed there for a few years until I was adopted by the BEST parents ever!!!!! I have been to 26 different countries and I speak Bulgarian, Dutch, Portuguese and English fluently. My country is Bulgaria, and for my graduation gift, I went back to Bulgaria with my family and visited my old orphange and was around my fellow Bulgarians. I have trauma and was diagnosed with Schizophrenia. But there is a happy ending for some kids.
So glad you were adopted by loving parents. It sounds like your birth mother just wasn't someone who couldn't handle being a mom. That probably hurt you, but it's nothing to do with you, it's everything to do with her. Stay strong and fight the good fight to have the life you deserve. Hugs and healing. ❤️
There’s no excuse for the baby in a plastic bag when any hospital, fire/police station, and many homeless shelters are safe havens. The sinking cars are terrifying. Drowning is probably my worst fear, so hearing a child is trapped in a sinking car is so indescribably scary. “Hey take your boots off. We’re doing this.” That’s a man who just does what needs to be done.
Some of these clips also highlight how important it is to remain calm when dealing with medical emergencies with children. Calm, but decisive. Take immediate action. It's your worst nightmare, but panic will make the situation worse. Saving a child from choking, for example, may look horrific, but that officer was calm and saved that kid's life. His frantic parents weren't thinking clearly.
You forget that deep down humans are just animals. Panic creates a fight or flight response, "being calm" isn't programmed into us and is often something that has to be worked on/trained or is something a very small percentage are born with: often lacking that "fight or flight" response (usually a mental disorder). The only "naturally born calm" people I have met have all been neurodivergent.

We need ads on social media to educate women about the laws concerning leaving the baby at a fire department or a hospital. They can't do what they don't know.
And fire fighters. I have a family member who has never quite recovered 10 years after carrying out a lifeless 14 year old from a deliberately set fire. Every time the perpetrators appear in the news she is reminded and relapses.
When my son was about 6 years old, we were coming out of a restaurant and a police car slowed down near us in the parking lot. He asked my son for his first name and said he had heard about a wanted criminal matching his description. You should have seen my son's face. The cop laughed and said "No, actually, I need small hands to push something" and when my son went to the car, the cop let him turn the lights on and off and even let him play with the siren for 3 seconds. He was so sweet

To hear the first cry ever of a baby is one of the most beautiful thing on earth! ✨️
And I don't even have children!
Despite humanity's flaws, there is something beautiful about people rescuing newborns and the baby's first exposure to the world being a desperate attempt to save them. Love and respect for the sacred nature of life.

I have no idea how to be Motivational in the comments on this video, but I'll give it a shot. "At least we have the comfort of knowing that these babies were saved. Thank God🙏"
Kudos to the Wisconsin deputy who got the children and mother out of that burning car with absolute focus that kept everyone safe and calm.

The vehicle that locked up and almost killed a family should probably be investigated. The design clearly has a major flaw somewhere
