Accident lawyers are terrible, they sandbag the process then they want a giant cut of any compensation you get at the end. In fact they make it harder to get money from your insurance because you now have a middle man that makes more money, the longer it takes to get paid. Time after time people have had to do all the work themselves to try and get a payout just for the lawyers to swoop in at the end and take the money.

@anna-mariedictson7381 cool so here's something. Let's say two people are at a bar. Person A, asks "Hey is your name Dan?", person B says, "Yup!". So person A thinks this person is someone else just because they have the same name, and punches Person B in the face.
Does it matter that person B is not the same person, or is the result the same?
Now take this a step further. Let's say Person B, Dan, gets punched in the face but remains in Person A's face EVERY. CHANCE. THEY. GET. Knowing that they are aggressive, and violent towards them, even if they know they aren't the right person.
Person B could have diffused the situation by being the better person and walking away. Are we saying that Person B here is totally justified in being in the other person's face, antagonizing them, and aggravating the situation (even if passively)... Because person A is a jack@$$? No. Absolutely not, right? If you do that and they attack again, that's on you.
So let's take it a second step higher and say Dan, this person B, has a badge. They are trained in non violent conflict resolution, are sworn to keep the peace, and knowing person A gets violent and confrontational just by seeing his face... Dan keeps doing it anyway.
That badge says you should know better. That badge says you should be held at a higher standard.
And if you are telling me that the baseline for your higher standard is, yeah it's perfectly fine to be aggravating a tense situation with your presence, when it is entirely possible - and likely, in your procedure - to tag out, and avoid that situation... Because why? Because the other person started it? That's not how a cop should operate. If that is your version of what a higher standard should be. Id hate to see how low your standards are for yourself.

If the person knows he or she is in a relationship they deserve to get disrespected or handled. You give respect to get respect, IMO.
