One step closer to FPO. I dig seeing the coaching progression.

Estonian Tartar. I was the first one in my limited sphere to see her on latitude 64 before she did her first USA tour. She was nobody, yet. But when I saw her forehand I knew she was the one to watch out for.

Great stuff. I’ve started working on my forehands too. Great tips and drills.

Nice Soda 😉 that's been my go-to for trying to get past 200-250' forehands as well
Also I just want to smugly point to 4:30 when half of the disc golf world is telling people to finish palm-up on forehands 😏

I got Erica's signature pharoah (halo g star, i think) a couple of weeks ago.
Grab a lighter one, I guarantee you will hit 300. I was the same as you and I parked hole 1 at New London last week (395 ft). Nice sloap down to help reach it.

Palm up has never been good advice in practice. The functional coaching of “don’t over rotate your wrist” is most simply DESCRIBED by keep your palm up… but it doesn’t work.
Watching any pro (ricky, eric, klein) that exaggerate this motion, in slow motion, you’ll see they don’t actually have their palm up at release, because it’s impossible to do so and throw powerfully.

Hey Josh! Long time viewer. I'm curious about the choice to introduce so much movement early. Isn't it easier to work from the fingertips and wrist, maybe a tiny bit of elbow, and isolate that movement first? That's how I taught my little brother, sitting down (to help minimize other moving parts) and focusing on spinning the disc to create a smooth panning anhyzer, just passing it to each other in the backyard. Then adding more levers once that is nailed. He made insanely fast progress using that strategy and also developed touch. Would love to hear your thoughts! Regards from Sweden.

This is a good thought. I did send her a text message with a short video of a drill isolating the arm and wrist movements a couple of days ago.

Great stuff. Any comments on this style vs Scott Stokley who teaches elbow away from the body?

The elbow separates from the body on the backswing. We are just talking about different parts of the throw
