I’m confused, calling it “bionic” makes it sound like it’s meant to be implanted into a the human body as an artificial eye replacement.
But in the examples at the end, such an application of the device wasn’t shown, so what’s it meant to be used for then?
PS: sorry if this is a dumb question, I just want to make sure I understand what this is supposed to be! :P
20k points / seconds is slow (likely a limitation of the single laser) and the point cloud looks to lack crispness but not sure why. Either wise very neat and looks better than the usual zed / d435 / oak at this price point. Although the livox MID-360 targets a similar market with 10x the points / second and 4x the range if you can afford it at $750.
This might jyst used for cheap small scale applications.
what kind of product can i use to scan a regular home or small structure? , because i only know about Leica and the products of that brand are very expensive. Im not a corporation. Edit: i need to scan a dense point cloud to recap and then another software.
Sounds great!
Excellent
