When this product is hooked up properly it works Amazingly. I believe his issue may lie in the fact he only wanted to lock and lock the car but he bought a proximity remote lock and unlock but did not hook all the wires up properly. I installed mine and as long as all wires are hooked up to the correct places the system works as intended.
I added this alarm as a 2nd alarm to protect the wheel and catalytic converter for my Lexus. Since Lexus factory alarm does not have any sensor. I only hook up the sensor and the alarm goes off every 30 seconds. The reason I did not hook up all the wires. Unfortunately the alarm is unable to turn off auto turn on feather. If you plan to get this as a 2nd alarm. It will turn on every 30 seconds when you are on the street unless you must connect all the wires. Not only sensor and microwave like I did. ACC wire must be hook up.
I know most Fords Nissan and some General Motors have this option I was having the same problem with it turning on and off until I turn off the auto lock system in the vehicle
I was looking at this on Amazon right now and decided to look for reviews on UA-cam and found yours. Sounds like it locks and unlocks as intended. Are we able to set it up without that little horn it comes with? Thanks for posting review 👍🏾
I found there's nothing wrong with this system as long as you wear it upright and like I said before make sure you turn off the auto lock and unlock that is installed in your vehicle

You are right i installed this on my 1996 ford ranger and it work very good 👌
The installation was fine but in the end the beepers stopped working.
Maybe the mechanics that installed it made it error
I had to turn off the auto lock and unlock system that was in the car it's working perfect now
How did you turn off the auto lock?
The alarm would only go off if it doesn't detect the door trigger wire if you did double check that wire or the ignition wire

I installed it last night and I'm getting the same results, I recheck everything an it keeps going off while am driving
It's suppose to turn on and off when the fob is close to the unit.
And then on and off and on and of and on and off and on and off all the way to your destination?
If your car has auto lock and unlock it's confusing the system just turn the auto lock and unlock off in the car
@@rickwallace4335 you notice that most cars don't have that feature?

Stay away from it. It is a headache
@@theotherguy3083 Alright, I will take that advice and avoid it. Thanks 🙂

@@rickwallace4335 well, most older vehicles don't have auto lock and unlock.
Yes I agree most older cars don't I know I had a 2000 Ford pickup that did
It is a wire that is not connected right that is why it keep going off.
Buddy take the key off the key chain and turn the shock sensors all the way down
