I just played the demo, and when I got to Panic City and heard *that* music playing in the background I almost cried. I thought that game had become so obscure everybody forgot about it. But no. It really gave me a sense of being *seen*. And that's the best thing about Sonic Legends. I hope there'll be more references to even more obscure fangames in the next few demos.

This game just makes me smile. The beautiful and super colourful graphics, the great level design, how expressive and well animated Sonic is, and *godDAMN that music!* Really hope this one sees it to the end.
Pretty sure this is supposed to be a prequel to sonic 1, christmas hill is where sonic was born, the other characters being in the game are the same thing as them being in sonic 1 in origins
The fan game is great. Not too sure what it'll be like in the upcoming future, but I think it's a great start as of right now. This has to be my first time seeing the original look of Sonic appearing within a fan game. Sorry that I couldn't join the live due to a lack of time, but I'll definitely make it to one of the week day streams. Hope you're having a nice weekend Jaypin!!
This looks absolutely beautiful. I hope more fangames try re-creating the mania look. Level design looks fun too. Although I think there should be more obstacles
For ex: Sonic and the Fallen Star if a finished fan game with a secret ending and everything!! But the same team that made that game are making another, called Sonic and the Moon Facility, and I doubt they'll leave out the secret ending for it either.
Yo creo que este juego solo va tener niveles de juegos que se quedaron en demo, asi que no aparecerán niveles como de time twisted, sonic bts y ats, the fallen star, triple trouble 16 bit, GX (ya lo finalizadon despues de dos decadas), axium, etc. Me encanta que esten haciendo esto asi fusionarian niveles de juegos que queradon en demo y los conviertan en un juego completo. ❤
In terms of polish (no glitches)? Couldn't imagine it not being. Music? Plausible. Those aside? ...Debatable, especially when the game isn't even out. Don't count your chickens before they hatch, just saying.

Point is it is possible to another fan game to complete your own in more efficient time rather than always needing to find a small engine or start from scatch to make it.
The skidding sound reminds me of that Speedy Gonzales SNES game that was fan remade into that god awful Sonic SNES bootleg from back in the day. So much trauma.
Why does the first act of the first level in this game look like, or rather, literally stolen from "Sonic Overture 95"? Too lazy to make your level? At first I thought it was the other way around, but then I found out that "Sonic Overture 95" has been around for a long time. But at least the character sprites and other locations look good, but it doesn't make a very good impression on me! ...rabbit sonic...he is here too....
Sonic Overture 95 is actually not the original, if anything the devs of the original apparently never gave the devs of 95 permission to make sonic overture 95

They are including Amy in more fan games. I'm happy for that. Even if she's not in this demo, looking forward for more in the future.
The graphics remind me of Chaotix! Which is blendingly mixed with mania, its just LEGENDARY!
