Looks great. I also picked up the bundle with Fatal Zone on Steam. They downloaded faster than I could type this and were less than my lunch. Thank you survivors-likes for this trend.
I thought we have seen a flood of Bullet Heavens mostly cloning Vampire Survivors Already, but the current Bullet Heaven Festival on Steam has still so many more coming! The only one that tickled me to try over my already extensive library was Antipaint, because the art and setting is so unique. First Boss is Fighting literally the Mona Lisa, while creating your own painting. Totally recommended, when you want something bright and chipper
Put it on my wishlist! And I saw that 20 Minutes Til Dawn get's a spin-off "20MTD: Ember Path" - Hope you will give it a try when it's out! (and there's a new character in 20MTD)
About the Max HP being reset. It kind of also works as a healing effect(it increases max hp and current hp). And you are fully healed between each zone anyway. If the health kept scaling, it would probably be waaay too good if you got several of them early.
Is that the scorpion from Silica? Not in this game, I remember it has tendency to one shot all infantry units and decimate light vehicle, man such a pain to deal with.
Seems cool but the runs feel a bit long for how much building they let you do. Like after the first 10 minutes you seemed adequately OP and by the end of the run it didn't seem like the weapons/build had changed or evolved past numbers buffs. Could cut the runs down by 50%+ and not lose much gameplay value
Thoughts on a system where unlocks have say a "Max Level" (maybe can limit break) and instead of having set values of set stats for each level it random generates a set based on the upgrade level + rarity rolled + other stats like luck or corruption etc (potential stats make sense for the ability). Through each run your weapons would performing slightly different at the same "level" such as it has more projectile split, speed & pierce but less base dmg & size ALSO you could add other "wacky" stat it could rolls that change how a weapon fundamentally works or just change its damage type etc ?
It's the roguelike deckbuilder trend all over again where a ton of indie devs jump on a hot genre with their own clones & fresh takes. Brotato, Rogue Genesia, 20 Minutes Till Dawn, Nimrods, Death Must Die, Nova Drift (it's a Bullet Purgatory, but w/e), Vampire Hunters, Halls of Torment, & Boneraiser Minions are all absolutely fantastic in their own ways- and stand out quite well from each other and the rest of the genre. I think the biggest issue is that there isn't a steam genre page for them yet, so they're a disorganized and hard to parse mess.
Tbh though, this genre is so cheap, that you can just buy them, play them for less than a week, and still have "your money's worth". So you can just dabble in a lot of them here and there without losing that much. They are the "fast food" of games in a way, and I don't mean it in a despective way XD It's just a type of game that's super easy to pick up, play a couple runs, then move onto another thing.
Incase you missed the wording, the medallion gives +1 ad for every 250 enemies killed not a cap of 250, and the extra weapon is 50 levels after getting the item
Either the game needs to tell you there's a max to things, or my thinking. Just stop giving you those choices once they're maxed out so you never see them again.
I get that it's hard to talk and play but it's hard too take your advice seriously when you don't read the ability's and seem shocked why they don't have an effect yet
just to let you know: You are responsible for every bullethell/heaven in my library.
Same lol

Lol cause they're a cheap vampire survivors ripoff

Seen a couple of vids on this. The extra weapon slot is gained 50 levels after you get it. So really best early game, nit great late.
I like how he twisted his spine right at the beginning there
The character's spine is more like a loose, noodly suggestion more than anything else.
Woop, let the bullet heavening commence!
It's weird to me not to have sound effects atleast a little bit or something i know it can get repetitive at a higher sound level
Put it on my wishlist!

It's too bad that you can't stand SFX.
Yeah. I wish I could tolerate them so the viewer experience was better. But it just drives me nuts if I keep repetitive sound effects enabled.
Ah well, all the more reasons for us to check the games out ourselves

Recettear is one of my favorite games!
Just watching this video instantly puts me to sleep several times -.-
I don't know if you noticed but there are enemies just like the Greenland game
These types of games need to be free, I can't keep buying dozens of virtually identical games :/
"we are looking for saboteur or brutal" after skipping a saboteur not three seconds before hand.
Looks good I may wait on this one though and go for Deep Rock Galactic survivors first
Good choice. DRGS is top tier.

Glad I’m not the only one who thinks so lol

I can’t help but notice way to many of the icons seem really identical to shapeshifters formations….
the character make me think of a stormtrooper

This game seems cool but there are too many bullet heavens now imo
The issue is that not one stands out

@@Jonjon13Jonjon13 I don't agree. We need better curators

Greedland appears to do this better, but is notably more expensive.

Which also is useless after level 50 cause last I saw you're capped at lvl 99
spinning top of death x)
Great Game
I swear i've seen these gribblys before... are we sure they aren't asset store?
is it just me or do some of those enemy design look like they have been ripped straight out of silica?
Hey wander sorry if this question is too personal but are you Wiccan? Because if not you sure say Blessed be a lot for someone who isn't Wiccan
I'm a plain ol' agnostic. I just pick up words & phrases from people/shows, and they stick in my head for way longer than most people.

insect swarm is MUCH more fun.
You kill me... What happen to normal...?
is this game fun to play? i saw some gameplay but still on the fence. just get bored from death must die and wait for update/new game.
You cant really call it boring when you play on easy... If boring up diff.
No SFX feels so weird to me and i don't know why
This game has nothing to do with risk of rain.
