So glad you love your new bag! Thanks for the feedback about adding internal compartments. We are curious what you would use extra internal compartments for?
@@vesselgolf I think there are enough compartments on this bag. I have a 4 pro DXR and absolutely love and think it has enough storage so this 5 pro is even better without being too much. I also have a lux cart pro which I think has too many compartments for me as I don't use all of them. Anyway, I will be ordering a 5 pro DXR before christmas in the 14 way for a change with club organiser which just completes it as I have this on my lux cart pro.
Suggestion: The cart bag has 14 way top with a putter well making it 15. I would like to see that on the next pro design. I keep my alignment sticks and orange whip tool there. Also, I keep a shag tube and practice balls for chipping pre round. If there was a design like for the umbrella that was also sturdy enough to secure that, this bag would get me to swap over.
I’ve had multiple Player bags. I had the original Player then the Player III but had issues and got it warrantied and upgraded to the Player IV Pro. Then had issues with that bag as well and they let me upgrade to the Player IV Pro DXR. My only gripes are that the hip pad wears quicker than it should and the rubber feet on the legs poke through the rubber pretty easily. Wish they were more durable. I really enjoy the DXR but wish they had different color options besides black. I know they make a waterproof X-PAC material. I wish they made a waterproof version as well and maybe a little lightweight. Some courses where caddies are used, they don’t like the Vessel bags because they are heavy. I’ll probably get a Player V Pro DXR because of the new features. I like the new 14 way top and the extra magnetic pocket and cart pass through.
@vesselgolf, please understand that I love the bag and have made multiple comments already, but I’d suggest you also do a brief video showing how to fit the rain cover to the bag as it’s not immediately obvious how it fits the pro v, with clips, pull string, strap etc. please accept this suggestion in the spirit that it is offered.
Hi there! Thank you for your feedback. We’ll be sure to relay this as a suggestion that could benefit our community. We truly value the ideas and contributions our community provides.
Hi there! Apologies for the delayed response. For our Player V Series, the rain hood can be converted into a bag for carrying accessories, clothes, or other items. We hope this clears up the use of the black strap!
@@vesselgolf ok, thanks, never would have considered that. As the designer, you obviously have many thoughts as to the uses of the different pockets/raincover etc (including the padlock found in an inside pocket) so as a suggestion, perhaps a flyer coming with the bag detailing potential uses of different components/pockets such as the rain cover as a carry bag. This would be more beneficial than the “journal 8” brochure promoting other products.
I love my Player V Pro, but am a little disappointed to see the that the club organizer will not be available for lefties. It would also be cool if Vessel made the STL files for the organizer available so those of us who are lefties and have 3D printers could work out altering the top to accommodate left handed clubs ourselves.
Hi there! We apologize for the delay in the release for left-handed golfers. We're currently working on a club organizer designed to accommodate lefties. We appreciate your patience!
Really like the functionality of the Player Pro, but didn’t here any mention if has all weather capabilities; i.e. is it waterproof? If not are there any waterproof bags available?
Hi there! The Player V Pro is crafted with weather-resistant materials to hold up well in rainy rounds. It also includes water-resistant zippers to help protect your valuables!
Did you discontinue the VLX? I just looked it up, and the lightest option for the Player V is 6.6 pounds. That’s heavy for a walking bag. My VLX 4 way top is closer to 4 pounds after I removed the heavy metal towel ring. A lightweight walking bag with a couple of the new features like the magnetic quick access pocket, key ring, or pass through for the cart strap would be a big hit.
Hi there! Our materials are all water-resistant, meaning they won't soak-in or hold water. Instead, water is repelled. Additionally all bags come with a matching body material rain hood and umbrella holder. Most bags are further equipped with water-resistant zippers. Because of the stitching required to put the bags together, we cannot claim the bags are 100% water-resistant. With that said, our team was just recently in the UK and we played a full round in the rain with no issues or wet pockets. We hope this helps, but please contact us at info@vesselbags.com if you have further questions. 😊
Thank you for your feedback! Our product development team is constantly working to bring new products to our community, taking all suggestions into consideration. We appreciate your input!
Love everything you guys have done and listening to consumers, but adding so many features have made the player pro way too heavy to carry and essentially have made this a cart bag as it flirts with 8lbs. I personally think the weight is just as important as any features and wish you guys kept the weight similar to player 4 pro.
Hi there! We believe our EQ2 strap helps alleviate the weight added by the extra features. If you’re looking for a lighter carry, the Player V offers many great features and might be a better option for you.
Hi there! We’re sorry to hear that you feel this way. While there are many levels of 'synthetic' materials, we pride ourselves in only using the most premium materials which have been carefully tested and curated by our design team. In comparison to genuine leather, our Tour-Grade Synthetic Leather is lighter, easier-to-clean, weather-resistant and more durable. In our case 'tour-grade' speaks to the color-fastness and wear-resistance required for everyday tour conditions which range from high heat to rainy days. We hope this helps clarify!
Bought one last year and it’s already falling apart. The legs broke and the “leather” is already peeling off and your customer service IS TERRIBLE. Never again. Buyer beware.
I have the lux 2.0 with the organizer. It's an incredible bag and worth every penny. That organizer is priceless !
Thank you! We’re glad you are loving your bag!
Still no organizer for lefty's
@MichaelJones-ff9gb my buddy uses the organizer and he's a lefty, still works well.
I just got my player pro 5 and I love it! Lets get more compartments inside of side pockets 😉and can't wait for that club organizer!

Would love to see Iron Brew become a standard color 🤞🏿🤞🏿
Glad to know you love it! We will keep that in mind!
Suggestion: make the rain cover function as a shoe bag when not in use. If you do this, please send me a bag to try out!😁
Hi there! We offer shoe bags on our website-feel free to check them out!
What is the black strap for with the rain cover?
I have the same question, and note you haven’t received a reply.

I do wish that company’s would stop calling it tour grade “synthetic leather” or “Vegan Leather” and tell the truth by calling it what it is. VINYL
