The comment at the 9 minute mark regarding lefties is spot on and the reason I went with ghost earlier this year. Having hip pads on both sides and the ability to switch straps around is perfect. I know I’m in the minority but this is what sold me on the GHOST.
Thanks again for the great update video. I couldn't decide on the 7 or 14 way top in the player V pro. 14 for sure ,now just to decide on the colour. I have the 4 pro DXR which I love and am keeping. This will be replacing my lux cart pro in grey which I just found too bulky in my car and didn't use half of the pockets. I tempted on the white but worried about it wearing badly even though I look after my belongings extremely well....
Same, same but different... 😂 Good review again, mate. Both great quality, vessel better pockets, and customisation options... Ghost looks better, stands out more, get compliments, etc... Side storage pockets are prob the same in volume only one has a large and small vs 2x medium-sized pockets... Ghost wins with accessories, you get 2 straps (carry and a staff/ cart bag strap) plus pen, plenty of extra and alternate zip pulls and ball marker... The biggest and most important difference IMO is club sticking (might be the angle the bag sits at or internal mechanism), Ghost doesn't, Vessel does, unless they fixed it with the new model, that's the reason I went to Ghost and haven't looked back... 🤷 PS Ghost gloves are AWESOME last so long and look great...

Was torn between both bags as I like them both but I think the Vessel might be the one for me. Especially in the Iron Brew colorway! The blacked out Ghost bag is sharp though. I have a Jailbird Mini putter. Would one bag be better than the other in that regard?

When you lean the bags on their stands, do the top of the clubs near the putter well drop lower in relation to the wedges and irons, or do all of the club heights stay at the same relative position?

I can’t decide between these bags - I love the symmetry of the Ghost but love the pockets and organisation of the Vessel. My question is - do the magnetic side “cooler” pockets serve any other purpose - being just magnetic in the middle it seems (as opposed to full zip closure) will items like score cards, hats, towels etc get wet being in there (if it rains!)?
@@DoubleJ_84 the magnetic closure on the vessels are amazing. The one with the cooler can be used for anything. What is your personality like? I think that is usually the determining factor for most people. To be honest- they are both great, but different.
Be great if I could see them in person, but here in the UK it’s order online only. I’m drawn to the looks of the Ghost, but the pockets and organisation on the Vessel - those two coolers ones on Ghost just don’t appeal, I can’t see them closing fully enough to keep items inside dry I fear. Wish I could have both like you! 😂
Does one of them work better for a L.A.B. Golf DF2.1? I prefer 14 way and it seems like the vessel might be better for it. The DF2.1 gets caught on the woods headcovers in my current Titleist Hybrid 14.

I have the ghost maverick and love it but it’s got some water marks from being caught in the rain. Can’t get them out no matter what I try. Magic eraser, leather conditioner, leather cleaner, soap and water, vinegar, etc. any suggestions? Might have to get the white, it bag looks great!
I got the ghost Oreo weekender because I just started and still at the driving range only. Have in my mind that Pins and Aces cart bag he just reviewed as an all weather bag. And a third fancy cart bag like a vessel swag bag for sunny days. ... have to see how good I get next year. Went crazy getting head covers, both pins and aces and Swag.

I had to return & exchange my Pro V not once but twice ! they kept sending me a bag with a completely slanted / crooked magnetic pocket .. finally on the third try it was somewhat straight .. customer support was awesome & very accommodating but man .. wonder if anyone else experienced this ? (7-way top - pebble black)
Which one is taller? Or are they the same height? I’ve only seen the player 4 (non pro) in person and it seemed like it was short. Meaning the club heads stick out pretty far? The vessel now having cart strap pass through might be the deciding factor for me. And it comes with the cart strap protector. But on the other hand $100 difference is nothing to scoff at. As you can probably tell I’m not good at making decisions!
the new player V is supposed to be 1.25 inchs taller than the 4 pro which should sort out the problem of it not sitting correctly on an electric trolley although I still think it will need to sit sideways as the legs are going to be an obstruction and you don't want to scratch them.... Buy the vessel pro 5 it wins all day
If you are an avid golfer play 2-3 times a week, these leather bags will not last two years. The synthetic leather peels and scratches easily from everyday use. I've had my Vessel V Plus for 18 months, the storage is amazing but everything is wearing off. The edges are scratching off and leather peeling. Color if fading too from sun UV ray. I don't recommend any of these bags if you want something to last.
@@eJunkee do you mean you have the 4? As the 5 just came out last month or so. As for the quality, I beg to differ. My white 4 has 100 rounds and looks like new. I’ve never heard of anyone or have seen anything that you have experienced. I’m not saying it’s impossible, but if they are taken care of they last forever.
@@rpl2125 how are you watching it? Your phone ? The brightness on TVs and phones are all over the place. We’ve added lights but for some people it’s still dark. We have done reviews of both of the bags before if there are any questions with the tops.

Do the white. It’s easy to keep clean. Use the care strap and you’ll be fine.

Which do you think would be better for someone who constantly walks… about 60 percent with a trolley, and 40% on my back?

Almost the exact same height. Sounds like you made your decision. The vessel is amazing. It’s larger than the Ghost in every way.
