@@OlenaBespalova-c8t Hello! 😀 Unfortunately, you can’t substitute coconut flour for almond flour because coconut flour is much more absorbent. It soaks up a lot of liquid, so if you substitute it 1:1 for almond flour, your recipe will likely turn out much drier. Typically, you’d need to increase the liquid or eggs in the recipe when using coconut flour. I haven’t tried this recipe with coconut flour myself, but feel free to give it a try and let me know how it goes!
Thank you Tania for your comment. After turning off the oven you can leave the cake there for about 10 minutes to avoid cake “falling”. I hope this helps 😃
Hi, just came across your channel, n your recipes are focused on Keto, n very nicely explained. Being a diabetic, I'm looking to bake with sugar substitutes. Will really appreciate, if you can Please advice on the type of sugar substitutes to buy for baking! So I can follow your recipes. Thank you so much..
Hi Gaff and thank you for your comment. I recently love using in baking a combination of erythritol and monk fruit extract from the Whole Earth brand from Costco. I have a video on my channel about what are the best sweeteners on keto diet so if you have a moment please take a look. Have a nice day!
Hi Ana, here is the recipe: Ingredients: 6 large eggs separated at room temperature ¾ cup keto friendly sweetener in powdered form 1 cup almond flour 1/2 tsp baking powder ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar Pinch of salt 13 x 9-inch pan or 2 x 9” round pans (if you make a layer cake) Directions: Preheat Oven to 350˚F. Line bottoms 13 x 9-inch pan or 2 x 9” round pans with parchment paper (do not grease the sides). Place egg whites and the cream of tartar in a stand mixer or use a hand mixer and start mixing on low speed until the whites turn opaque. Then start adding the powdered keto sweetener in small increments and gradually increase the speed of the mixer until the whites have formed soft peaks. Set aside. In a separate bowl beat 6 yolks for about 1 minute on high speed. Whisk together flour and the baking powder and then add into egg yolk. Fold with a spatula just until incorporated. In small batches fold the egg whites carefully into the yolk and flour mixture. Put the mixture into the baking pan and bake at 350˚F for 25 minutes or until top is golden brown.
Hi Ann, I’ve never tried to use the recipe for a Bundt cake, but I don’t think this will work out because this is a soft cake batter and may tear while removing from the pan. I am not sure, this is my thought 😃
Hi Fitza, yes you can add the coco powder and it should taste really good 😃 just remember to add the coco to the dry ingredients and then combine with wet ingredients 😃
Thank you Maria for contacting me ♥️ My schedule doesn’t allow me to take more consultations at this time, however I do want to help. You can go to Keto Maria website, she has coaches there. Maria Emmerich is awesome! If my schedule changes I can let you know but don’t want you to wait. Also please check out my other vides on this channel. I have lots of educational video about keto, keto cooking, recipes, product recommendations etc.
Sheesh, she barely spoke. Some ppl just have to find something to say. Probably they didn't even look at the video at all. You can't expect to just get all of someone's info without spending a minute listening to them.
