This worked, thank you, I thought my controller was dead but on the computer all the buttons and inputs functioned but it wouldn't connect to my ps4. thank you.
Controller is slowly flashing orange and charging but won't connect. And it won't turn on the console. It will only flash orange whilst the playstation is switched on with a USB cable connected to it. Tried pressing the reset button with a tiny pin for 10 seconds, tried holding the ps button and share button for 10 seconds, tried using the ps remote app to disconnect and tried to reconnect to the Bluetooth in the playstation settings. Still nothing worked so I'ma just buy me a new controller

I've taken it apart and tried to see if anything was broken... and i now the usb port works if the light shows its charging... but i dont know how to tell if it's the battery?
I don't know honestly, my controller just go to a point to where it would flash a wight light when I pushed the middle button and when I plugged it up its charging light would fade on and off so I looked it up and it said to leave it plugged in for two hours so I did. Now it's still doing the same thing except now the charging light just fades away instead of off and on.
BROOO I WAS GONNA CRYY all i had to do was go into controllers and change it from Bluetooth to cable because apparently my Bluetooth wasn’t working and I thought my cable wasn’t but it was my Bluetooth and I just had to switch it over😅😅😅😅
@@EyadSoprano I bought a micro data usb cable.. type b for ps4.. my original one wont work so when i connect that usb cable , suddenly it repeatedly blinking orange.. but then in the end it disappears again.. Maybe the battery is the issue
My PlayStation USB Broke And I Don’t Know Where Another One Is So I Used A USB Splitter Cable With USB C And More And It Worked And Now It’s Not It Stopped Working Since I Connected It To My Phone And I Only Get 1 Orange Light Then It Turns Off 😞

This is me, sometimes my controller will flash orange, shut off and then won't turn on unless I fully power off the system. What is up with that?
