Yep. I agree, although you’re considerably older than me. I’m only 53
Sounds like you were lame in the 90s if you were mid 25s bangin this shit 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Missed an end of an era, I'm ashamed I will never have been able to witness.
@@SnotrocketLT4I also agree and you’re both considerably older than I, 47 here! 😂
@@giovannicarosa8819 nice. I deserved that.
i love how you can hear every instrument
But not a single word lol
@@JohnVo423 its not about the words

And someone is physically playing said instrument....
@@willoughbykrenzteinburg yeah but a lot of bands eq out the majority of an instruments sound like picking and the accidental sounds, this makes it sound raw and natural
Eddies isolated vocals during this are out of this world magic
A few years either side of when this was filmed his vocals were incredible,
The 90s were an absolute glorious time !
Youth, raves, concerts , beautiful women & the greatest time of my life all played to an incredible soundtrack that will never let me forget it.
Same here man. Me and my boys were all 23 or 24 years old in 1990 (class of '85 here). So we were about the same age as the guys in those "grunge" bands.. It was like our generation (gen•X) had arrived and it kicked ass. The 90's were the absolute best time of my life. If I could go back for a visit, it would be summer of 1992 @ Lollapalooza 2 (Pittsburgh show). We caught Lollapalooza I in DC in '91 while hanging out in Ocean City Maryland.. 🤘 Great time to be alive for sure.
80s and 90s
@@misterwirez7731 I’m Class of 85 myself !
I missed the 91’ show ….92’ was my 1st Lollapalooza & it was incredible! (Great Meadows MA) Pearl Jam, STP, Sound Garden, Chili Peppers ! Every time I hear something from the 90s it brings me back to some concert, a club or just hanging out somewhere & they’re all great memories !
I graduated high school in 1996. I remember this song coming out like it was yesterday. The voice this dude has is a special thing.
I was in Middle School and this, with Jeremy hit so hard - it was the best era ever :)
THis song blessed my ears in Guitar Hero 3 Legends of Rock on the Wii in middleschool also.
Me too 1996
1991 it was released, great album
nine-six in the house
Damn,he was giving it hell right there and sounded fantastic, which they always did sound good live
10 has to be one the greatest Albums of all time...Pearl Jam was Jammin
For sure
And pearls, they were, like like jamming pearls
They hate that album. They had no clue what they were doing. Still don't.
@@johnbeckwith1361what are you talking about
@@johnbeckwith1361i don't give a fck what they think of that album, I love it. Still have the same CD I bought in 1992 and it still sounds as good as it did then.
Did his eyeballs 👀 just roll completely back into his head 😁 Gotta love ❤️🔥 Eddie‼️

Best times in the world. Today will never understand that time. Lost forever
What an amazing voice!
Was introduced to pearl jam as the opening act. For the RHCP and NIRVANA. Back in 91. Talk about mind blown that day!! Best concert of my life. And seeing the RHCP in nothing but socks is hard to unsee
$15 show too
I saw that tour in December 28, 1991 in Del Mar ca. San Diego. Nirvana , Pearl Jam and RHCP.

This song STILL moves me like a free-fall inside after all these yrs.

One of the greatest singers in grunge history right there, and one of the only ones still living today sadly 😥 glad you are still doing well Eddie love the new music. Keep rocking guys!
Don't forget Chris Cornell. RIP Chris.❤❤❤
Lol, and Layne- my goodness I miss Him and those times just waiting for the next album to come out!!
MY FAVORITE SINGER YESSSSS❤
Dave Abruzzi drums perfect pitch ❤❤❤the greatest drummer of Pearl jam 👍👍👍
I agree .it was a shame that Eddie was jealous of Dave's popularity due to his looks etc and had him fired
They lost their soul groove without Him
Dave here...
Thank you.😉
Great show ed.... See ya back in seattle?? ...
Hell yes 🤘🏼
90s come baaaaccckkkkk 😢😢😢
Favorite singer of all time! His voice is absolute gold.
Late 80's and early 90's were the best! I was 21 in 1992 :)
Yes!

I turned 16 in 1992. I thought that Pearl Jam and the rest of the whole Seattle movement was other worldly. Amazing brilliant sounds from each band.
No Way! Late 60's 70's Hendrix, Doors, Joplin, Santana, The Who,

What a great singer he was with Pearl.....what a voice! Salut Jeremy for😉😉😉😉🍻🤘👍👍👍. Respect from Belgium
Youth , it's a wonderful thing. You really realize this when you get old , everything you took for granted.
There's a quote and I don't know who said it but it went like, such a shame youth being wasted on the young.
So true

It was exciting back then, we all had jobs, petrol was cheap, the drugs were great and life was great! Pubs were packed no one had drink problems and we had to talk on the house phone or go out. The internet fked it all up
Right 😢, now I'm old with a plethora of medical issues
The Vancouver shows were amazing, Europe will be incredible too!!! Wish I could just follow these guys this whole tour!!!
Still love this drummer so much Dave's a sparkle and such an influence to me

HEY NOW bassfishhemahsomethinsomethin. You'll never hear a band like Pearl Jam again.
And after Ten even Pearl Jam never heard another band like Pearl Jam ever again.
Pure 90s gold
I still listen every day
I miss the 90s waahhh I wanna go back. Grunge ruled man. I had the DMs, plaid jacket, long sleeve under t-shirt! And long hair! Oh to be young again :(
Killer bass !
I was furtunate enough to go to 4 PJ concerts throughout my life.... Back in 1992 up until 2022... 30 years watching this band here and there....
We were all so young back then!
Wow, this really makes me miss my youth. Love this song
Abruzzesse was their best drummer. Damn foul how Vedder had him removed from the band.
Yeah, pretty cu#ty of him.
When Ed passes away. I’m gonna cry like a little baby. His music made my childhood. His music is so good. My favorite band of all time. Even his solo career Is good.
For sure, and their new album dark matter...i mean the amazing songs and amazing albums just keep and keep and keep coming..they just don't fall off at all like almost every other artist does... that just goes to show how amazingly talented Pearl Jam is
Gosh those vocals 🎉
I love their music!!!
Hell yeah 💯. Pearl jam 💪🎸🥁🎤
Yup always one of my favorites. Yeah. Beetie boo wadfie waa doole daa yaddie yaa. Hangin the palm trees.

Still dig these jams...was just getting out of the service. 58 now brings back memories.
I'm 58 as well. The 90s were a blast. 🤘👍
56, an I had recently gotten out of the military too. I remember there was a small brick building for non-coms where we could grab a bite and there was a CD/Video jukebox. This song and I remember Skid Row "18 and Life" playing constantly on it.
Top...respect for Pearl Jam. The history of Grunge.
When the singer was another instrument in the band ❤❤ those was the times
The PJ concert here in melb aus in 1995 was 1 of the highlights of my teens it was such a big deal
Loved listening to this back in my teens
Gen Xer here! I miss the ‘90s so badly! Yeah, I’m old. But I’ve seen so many great bands that young people would be jealous.
The 90s had so much great music. From grunge to metal like pantera.
Great voice
Eddie is the last man standing in a long list of the best grunge lead vocals from the 90's.
A great band and that voice is awsome

One of the best rock vocalist ever even if he looks like he's possessed with the eyes turning white 😆
That was the mdma!! The eye roll!! Mine used to do it to the bass line it’s why it’s called ecstasy! It’s like no other drug we’d go raving on Saturday night and all function at work by Monday morning! This was back in 89/90 by 93 things turned moody as it was becoming mainstream and being cut with all sorts of rubbish. It’s not addictive like coke because you need the music and the music needed mdma! I bowed out gracefully went in to get married n have three kids but to be in London and part of that underground rave era is something else! It’s not moody like coke nor as terrible as heroin. Tried H once and threw up all night never tried it again. Ecstasy was the original party drug and I believe was what gave him his confidence
Absolutely... I didn't grow up with pearl jam and only recently discovered them in the last few years...i saw them for the first time ever in 2023 and they were just UNREAL how good they were live... unbelievable
My favorite band of all time. Their music will never die !
I remember very little from 94 ( my graduation year) to around 2000, except the music that I listened to. It was one hell of a ride for a while.
Man, I just turned 66. These guys gave me hope that solid rock music would continue. They were just incredibly talented. They called it grunge. Its actually called Rock and Roll done extremely well.
I'm a year ahead of you, and I can testify to the truth in your statement.
And I still see them Live to this May
This is still one of the best bands in the world!!! Pearl Jam!! I'm black and if you can't relate to Jam you aren't human!!
The more I hear One Direction (and the various solo artist sh1tshows that have stemmed from such acts) on the radio, the more I feel glad for the musical education of my youth. Amen.
One of the best albums of that ere. I can listen to it over and over, and it never gets old.
Yeah, and then they proceeded to follow it with an endless slew of the worst records I’ve ever heard. Vedder’s ridiculous. What a letdown.
I was 15 when I first fell in love with Pearl Jam. They got a sound that can’t be replicated.
The drums … great great job containing and keeping the energy into a groove!
We drove to Mexico from Los Angelesbin the back of a pick up listening to Pearl jam Nirvana The offspring, Red Hot chili peppers and time flew, i was 16. Good times
ahh.the good ol nineties.
What a superb drummer pearl jam had .....
Best Pearl Jam album ever! Ten!
Wasnt necessarily a huge fan, but as a musician myself, I always appreciated their live performances. One of the best live bands ever.
One of the few bands that sounds As good or better live than they do in the studio
Was that a fretless bass? I love this song. Takes me back to middle school times.
LOVELY!!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!! Colinsky
When music was alive and well. God I miss these times
Dave Abbruzzese was IMO the best drummer of Pearl Jam. It's a shame they parted ways. Nothing against the great Matt Cameron.
Best drummer IN PJ but, not the best drummer FOR PJ
I find his style a bit bouncy
Brilliant vocalist

Longtime Seattleite here- at 68, I’ve seen/HEARD them all. Most….in small rock clubs BEFORE the big time.
And the Grunge Era was GREAT!
I so agree! Golden you got to see 'em in small clubs, up-&,-coming ! 67, the grunge era was ... well I heard this band one time in '93, and was hooked- and in hot pursuit to see Live
90s was the best hands down. So glad I came up in those days
Bro was higher than a Boeing 747
Lmao
Never.
"Ten" was a million times better than "Nevermind". Best album of my lifetime.
Agree...also, Kurt was a douchebag. lol
I don’t think they’re comparable why I have competition between two totally different bands and never mind doesn’t really Nirvana at all.
@@ListedMia-sm4xm Nirvana was a boy band
@@Matt_237 you even know what a boy band is, that means you were born after these albums came out and the album Nevermind was not their first album does not describe Nirvana at all then you would say pearl jams a boy band they’re just different why define them in anyway that’s silly if people like music, that is nothing to do with today and then I don’t compare and put those people down. You never know what those people go through especially when these bands came out in their teen years.
Obviously, you like Pearl Jam better I just got into them as an adult and they’re they’re great they’re band is great but I love Nirvana wheel of the day I die they were my first love. I was young, but I went back and there’s still the same as they were, when they were first a band before the pop album industry made, never mind in which Killed Kurt in the end whether he was murdered or not that’s what killed him mind, body and soul both of the bands have love each other, and the young people on these old sets get on my nerves because it’s stuff us older people get to see that didn’t get to see because we were so young and they were all over the world at this point have you ever been an actual show not a concert? Then you would understand.
@@ListedMia-sm4xmI didn't read everything you just wrote, as you're a presumptuous jackwagon. I was born February 2nd, 1979, so yeah. Strike one and you're done. Nirvana is a boy band. You just started to talk about "Nevermind" not even being their first album. Bleach was re-released after Nevermind. Because ... I have both copies. Clown. At 11, anyone with talent could play their guitar riffs. Because they're awful.
They're a Pixies knockoff band. Kurt was an absolute clown. He was today's Taylor Swift. A look at me Kardashian. That's how I know you WERE NOT alive. Pearl Jam, Tool, NIN, Ministry ... I'll stop ... there were dozens of better bands around. Nirvana just made boy band music that chicks liked and football players liked, so they got popular.
Again, didn't read your whole presumptuous nonsense. As someone that had to see them twice because the other band on the bill was better, they sucked. The Breeders made them look like crap at the Armory. I was 14 years old. At least he had good aim.
I'm 47 this year and always liked Pearl jam
