Fantastic video - I think it's the only one of its kind. Is it safe to assume that the continuation series does not have available power steering? I have a Superformance almost exactly like the one shown. It has manual steering, and it's nearly impossible to autocross. The one in the video has the smaller, leather-wrapped steering wheel so I'll assume it has power steering, this makes a notable difference in driving experience.
i would always go with 15 inch wheels, Americans often have a suspect taste, when it comes on rims in these days... 15 inch all the way on a Cobra. I have a question, Since when SPF produce the MKIII like the actual model? Is there a chance of older MKIII's 2000-2005 ??
Be interested to hear your take on the Superformance Mk2 and the CSX 8000. It would appear that these are much more similar than the SPF Mk3 vs CSX 6000. Same chassis, for example.
It would be tough to get a SFP MK2 in the same room as a CSX continuation series but I agree, that would make a great video! In a longer video, it would also be swell if he spoke to DRIVING EXPERIENCE - the suspension, power steering, etc.
Excellent explanation of the differences. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!

The roll bar is also much taller on the CSX
Id rather have the CSX...But id put a 289 with Eldebrock fuel injected and Garrett turbo charger.
That sounds like a killer setup!
@@downforce-motorsports sounds like decent gas mileage.
Is it the camera angle, or is the Shelby lower at the back than the SPF?
The body lines are definitely different in the rear.
