Love the video! The one thing I have not found in any Cobra builders is in house financing. Or at a minimum an approved partner. I think someone should speak to this point. Maybe also speak or discuss about the appreciation in value. There is also the auto insurance aspect. A collector policy is a lot more cost effective. I think a lot of guys look at these cars and think they could never afford one. Or it would be too expensive to have a home. If they appreciate in value it might make a good college fund. Like my two sons - loved the time we spent in the cobra I purchased And I lost no money in the Cobra when I sold the car.

Thats not acurate though is it.......... Shelby America sell alloy Kirkham Cobra's as 'Shelby Cobra's' i think they also sell Superformance Cobra's as Shelby's too.

I think the copyright is hard to enforce, even calling them Shelby Cobras is a badge engineering, the originals were made by AC cars, designed, built and engineered in the United Kingdom, , based on the Ace, but they couldn't get an engine deal sorted to sell them themselves, from memory the plan was the Chrysler 400 engine.
I don't think officially licenced matters in this case since both Shelby and Cobra were names slapped on someone else's product and they were also stuck on other companies products too. AC cars sold them as AC Cobras outside the USA and since the original manufacturer has never once tried to enforce the copyright it is no wonder cobra replicas is a complete free for all.

A complete Kirkham is about $350,000. The roller used to ho for $90,000, but now $250,000. I've seen used ones going for $190,000
Factor five and Superfomance start used about $30k, but you really don't know what you are getting.

@@tabcobra They are bought as rollers, you then choose what running gear you want in them. It might not be a Kit per say but Hi-tech build the cars for Superformance or You to add what ever running gear you want. So it's not sold as a turn key runner, it has to be final assembled by Superformance or You!! You can buy other Cobra's semi assembled at the factory too. It's not built by AC cars for Shelby so it's a Continuation replica at best.

@@K2edg I know, a few roller cars are the Shelbys, Superformance, Kirkham and Backdraft. None can be sold as turnkey cars because our government won’t allow it. Continuation Cobras come only from Shelby and have the CSX vin #s. There are more “kit” type Cobras than the roller Cobras and you can get into those for a lot less money. I have a Lonestar Cobra that i built myself and I put a 500ci big block Ford in it with a 4 speed Toploader. 🙂
