It happened with me also, Hit from back by Mahindra Pickup. Boot almost crushed to back seat where kids were seated. Police reaction on accidents are very bad like you mentioned here. They'll say either you compromise or we'll keep both the vehicles at police station. It makes not sense. Law should be improve here. Dash cam should be compulsory now a days.

Ive seen as we own a venue braking system is very tough so its actually an advantage. In second video you can the venue braked already and stopped before hitting the Honda city. Then Nexon hit the venue due to sudden stop and hitted the venue. Hyundai makes some strong brakes.

Not just the driver not paying attention, the traffic lights are placed is hard to notice in a few places, unless you are regular you won't even notice there are traffic signals there.
I have had close calls because the signal is placed at the opposite side that by the time you notice it you would have crossed the stop line, having a working signal at the stop line would prevent a lot of these situations

You are right Abhi, for a moment he was in 46mph and suddenly deceased to 30 and halted..looks like he might have tried to cross the signal within a few seconds and when it might have tried red he stopped it..I feel it's the fault of Altroz on sudden breaking..
But yes Venue should have observed it too to avoid the collusion.. feels like both are irresponsible..

But I think altroz is also at fault for the first incident as it overtook the venue and stopped in front of it, people should not overtake another vehicle if they intend to stop in front of it
It is better to put some kind of "crossing ahead" signboards, two, probably 200 m. apart from the actual signal, so less chance that a driver misses to see that and also give him ample time to slow down. This concept is not uncommon, we do see, for ex. signs of exit , like, exit to Raipur 400 m ahead, exit to Raipur 200 m ahead, then the actual exit.
If people actually see signboards then half the accidents will anyway reduce.
One should ignore life's problems like drivers ignore road signs in India.
