Last video you said you really like the 55 series same here Oliver 55 series of the 70s are great LOL. Like using the hay head on the chopper and chopping corn stocks for bedding. Great video. Have a great Holidays from Nebraska.
Youre doing good Mike, its shows respect for your subbers and thats what i like,we wish you and youre family a merry xmas and stay warm and safe you all greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Merry Christmas to you and your family Mike!! May the cold days of winter don't cause any kind of breakdown, John Deere green always runs well for us. :)
I tryed square balding corn fodder years ago with a NH 273 killed it after about 150 bales baler never was right again. Thanks for the videos MARRY Christmas and happy new years
Awesome video. Enjoy seeing different things around the barnyard. Very enjoyable to watch. I keep thinking about how many times I've been to the farm show or the empire farm days and probably walked past you or Andy and never knew. Lol. Look forward to seeing more.
I'm glad you enjoy the videos. If you do see me at the farm show or empire farm days definitely stop me and say hello. I love when people stop me and say hello, want a picture or whatever. I signed my first autograph this past summer. That was pretty cool! Haha
@@mikep7810 I sure will. That must've been a different experience signing an autograph, when we consider ourselves average, everyday farmers and neighbors. Lol. But, quite an honor non-the-less. Hopefully we do run into each other some day, even though I don't get out much. Lol.
Thanks for part 2. I enjoy all of the videos. I'm working on catching up with the last 4 years of you videos. Thanks again for answering everything. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Be safe and prosperous in 2022. We tried small baling corn stalks with a New Holland hayliner, and a John Deere 14T. One of every 10 bakes at most stayed together. We had a neighbor round bale some but for our operation it didn't work out great. That's how it went for us.
Awesome video! Love your videos and how you do take the time to answer questions and comments! Merry Christmas and Happy and Healthy New Year to you and your family! GOD Bless
I saw that, that was pretty cool. I didn't quite hear what his son said. I told Andy he should autograph the hood of the tractor so I can increase is value!
My parents used to small square Corn fodder back in the early 90s, they are extremely hard on a baler, the last few springs we did some large squares of fodder and I honestly never want to try that again, with constant knotter problems and the baler abuse
I'll have to send you an irn-bru or to .Great job and enjoyed seeing your skidsteer in there to. Have a fantastic Christmas and a merry New year to you and your family. Stay safe 🏴
I hope you can do question and answer vids again sometime. Really good stuff here. Love your vids Mike, keep up the great work brother. Have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year Price family. 😁
Enjoyed your last two videos. Just a question: any reason you don't have notched blades on the front gangs of your disk especially for discing corn stalks? They seemed to do a better job when we used to disk stalks. Thanks agin for your down to earth response on different things.
Thank you Dale. I'm glad you enjoyed the videos. We bought this disk a couple years ago and these were the blades it had on it. They are still in pretty good condition. I know what you mean about the notched blades. I really like the looks of the Kuhn Krause excelerator that would be great for breaking up the stalks.
I've never seen one in operation in person, but from the videos I've seen, they look like they do a great job. Probably would put a good dent in the milk check!! Thanks for the reply. Take care,
No. My brother didn't like it on the 4055 so I took it off and it sat in the shop for a while. The muffler went bad on the 4555 so I just threw it on there to finish out the season. I'll grab a new muffler for the 4555 this winter
If we were going to get another big tractor like the 4555 for tillage then I would get a 4wd. I wouldn't get snap on duals for the 4055 because the 4055 doesn't do much tillage. I'm not sure what tractor will run the new roller harrow if we end up getting one
Hey Mike, great videos, we seem to be about the same size in dairy cows. We milk 55 cows in a tie stall barn and we are under a lot of pressure with the new animal welfare laws coming in next year. They don't want cows tied up anymore in Canada was just wondering if you guys are going through the same??
I've heard rumblings about that coming down the pike but I haven't heard where they are making law yet down here. I have been saying for a little while now that I'm sure they are going to push for it. When does it go into law up in Canada?
I GOT a 7280R John Deere I bought about a month ago at a auction if y’all would be interested I planed on using it for tillage cause I couldn’t find a 305 magnum in my price range but I found one so I want to try to get rid this machine! It runs good I got short of it on my account
Isn't that the way it works. You find the tractor you want after you buy a different one. A 7280r would be a huge step up from our 55 series tractors but a tractor like that is way out of our price range. We actually just made a deal for a neighbors tractor
Merry CHRISTmas mike! Can you give me some advise on how to initially kick start my youtube channel to get viewers? The channell I just started is FRANsylvania Maple (for my maple operation)
Merry Christmas to you too. Best advice I have is to keep posting. I know its hard because when you start a channel and the subscribers and views are low its frustrating but you just gotta keep posting and hope the channel starts gaining steam. I use Instagram, Facebook, and snap chat to post whenever I post a video to hopefully have people check out the latest video
Yeah, it’s only been how many years, lol? Buck Showalter should make a big difference for the Mets this year, on par with Davey Johnson and Bobby Valentine. Might have to start rooting for them over the Yankees 😂

Do you switch the curved chrome exhaust pipe from tractor to tractor?
No. My brother didn't like it on the 4055 so I took it off and it sat in the shop for a while. The muffler went bad on the 4555 so I just threw it on there to finish out the season. I'll grab a new muffler for the 4555 this winter
A 2955 was the tractor in this town to finally beat a 7710
.then the tw series came out
The TWs are nice tractors

Yes, these Q&As do make things more personal
how come your cows are chained to their stalls ? don't you let them out on pasture some ?
They are in their stalls because they are about to be fed. They go out everyday
how many cows do you milk
50
Do you do anything on the side for extra money
I have an off the farm job and I make a little money here on UA-cam
we baled ours with a John deere baler and made good bading
