Seiko Seedtimer Seitona vs 1/100th - Ad Hoc Horology Ep. 2

A quick video showing you some of the differences between the Seiko Speedtimers. We have the Seiko Prospex SSC813 (panda) and the SFJ003 1/100th timer. Very cool watches in their own right. Which one would be right for you?

Former travel and HS soccer coach. Used the bezel of a Seiko 7002-7001 to time matches for 20 years. Would have loved to have the accuracy and legibility of one of these watches. The Prosper SSC813 has been on my radar for awhile!! Love that dial!!!

Oh, it is great! Matter of fact, I just got off a U16 ECNL field about an hour ago, and a great piece to have on the wrist. I think you would really appreciate it! And thank you for the comments, the all black is pretty slick for sure!

That 1/100 is definitely growing on me. I've spotted the panda version, but I must say black dial look so much nicer.

The all black is cool. The panda is my favorite I think, but the dial is silver (in case you didn't know)

I have the ice blue seitona and love it..thought about picking up the 1/100 version but haven’t pulled the trigger yet

With the Seitona, you can get the power reserve to show the power level fast if you press the lower pusher as soon as the Chronograph hand resets to 12. Dont have to wait.
