U.S. Marines and soldiers with the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force conduct Morning Colors raising both the American Flag and the Japanese Flag in honor of the 71st Commemoration of the Battle of Iwo Jima at Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 22, 2016.
More people should show this kind of respect toward their national flags.
Love to watch this video about the raising of the 2 flags from the USA and Japan with those military men... great video to show us how they handle and fold the flags too...

What a disaster.
First attach the top
Then UNFOLD the flag with the 3 MAN team holding jt so that the wind, if any, will catch it.
Then attach the end to the halyard.
Then when everyone is ready one person says HOIST and the flag is quickly hauled to the top of the flagpole.
Then it is hauled back 2 or 3 inches and secured with figure of eight turns to the cleat, securing the last turn with a back hitch.
Yeah, your flag didn't do you much good in Kabul, did it?😀😃😄😁😆😂🤣
