It took me 2 years of listening to Tool for it to click. But once it did, there was no going back for me. There is no band in existence that makes me feel the way I do when I listen to Tool. Tool fucking Tool.
Tool is a perfect tool with instructions that's what different from other bands. In the words of Maynard "There is no answer to all this , there's only means to get through this sh*t".
The vocal push at the end is harder so back in 07-09 tour days more often than not Maynard would hold the mic out so the crowd sang “vicariously I live while the whole world does.” Then he would end “much better you than I.” Quite funny in retrospect.
