A+ video! Great craftsmanship, reminds me of the excellence of that TV Stand DIY Retro Makeover. A person doesn't need to have a great memory to remember that, it is unforgettable!
Ah,10:45 PM, Swatch time. I hope you got some good night’s sleep! Also,I finished the story about you getting shrunk, dear Abby!I hope you enjoy the Epilogue in particular 🥰
How are you all doing? I have been watching your shows for quite some time. I live in Houston, graduated in 1992. I am 50 years old, and pure Texan! I have been collecting Hot Wheels since 1990,, like you all collect 80's stuff. I am exactly you guys age. You two have a great night!
Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to watch our videos and leave that sweet comment, we truly appreciate it! That's cool you collect Hot Wheels - I sometimes see them at estate sales, but I always go for the more girly toys and dolls, ha! It's just so nostalgic to get ahold of those things that were special to us in our childhood, isn't it?! Class of '92 woo-hoo!!
I just love you & Keith so much. Y'all are like friends in my mind. 😊 My husband Randy & I just bought a house 🎉 We get the keys to our house May 12th. I am so excited to finally get all my 80s stuff out of storage (for like 7 years so far) so I can make our guest bedroom our 80s room. I don't have a You Tube channel but I do have a FB (old school) 😂 if you ever want to send me a friend request, I'm under Sylvia Treuter Rippey. I'll be posting house pics when we are finally done. I see Y'all on the Collin Creek Mall page sometimes. Anyway, I hope our neighbors will be fun like you guys. Y'all are the best. ❤
Hey Sylvia, that's awesome!! It's fun to meet kindred spirits with a shared love of the best decade ever! Big congrats to you and Randy on your new house, how exciting! I'd definitely enjoy following your home improvement projects (which is also a passion of mine!) Just sent you a friend request :)
Looks amazing! My father was a carpenter as a profession (Note: I am not good at carpentry, but I can recognize a good job!) Is that Murphy bed on another video? That organizing of the records reminds me of a scene in the Gen X film Party Girl.
Thank you!! I wish we had a video of the Murphy bed, but he built it many years before we started our UA-cam channel and have since sold the bed. It was really neat though, and our daughter slept in it for most of her childhood.
@@Our80sLife That is really cool! I don't think I have actually ever seen one in person before. I remember seeing it in the show The Three Stooges (used to watch that all the time) and in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (which is a cool design for a Murphy bed!).
I admire people who have build-y skillz! I have none. I can't even draw a straight line, much less cut one. I'm not joking. My friend had a drafting table with the... whatever you call those rulers on it. I told her I cannot draw a straight line even with that. She did not believe me. So I showed her. I really couldn't. She was baffled. LOL! Anyway, it looks fantastic!
Ifound a great way to store you vinyl records pick up a metal shelving unit 36"×18"×36" also some wood crates 12"×18" the unit can hold the weight , just replace the cheap wood that comes with the shelving.Stronger then IKEA unit.
Thank you! We agree, Foreigner is awesome!! We were lucky enough to meet Lou Gramm on The 80s Cruise recently, and he signed that record, so we wanted to put it in the front where it can be seen... thanks for noticing!
Great job, if I made those shelves they would be leaning to the right. I picked up some metal shelving 36" long and some wood crates from Michael's for my vinyl LP's not bad.
NICE!!! It's like you two have your own Mini Record Store.
Right?! Thanks Al!
Keep those plans handy Keith. You 2 got the vinyl fever, and the only cure is more vinyl! You'll fill that case up in no time.
So true!! We've gotta learn to show some restraint at the record stores, lol! This hobby is surprisingly addictive!
@@Our80sLife Absolutely. I knew I was in trouble when I found the one shop in town with a basically "dollar wall" of lps.
Love the build!
Wow, Keith did an amazing job. Love to see all your records. And by the way, your Duran shirt ist very beautiful.
Thanks Bernhard 🥰
I love it!! Great job! I should look into doing something like that I’m running out of space as well 😂. Good job Keith!
A+ video!

Aww, thanks so much!!
It’s actually particleboard, we make it and cover it with melamine at my workplace. It’s really good as long as no moisture gets to it. Great build!
I love the style of the stickers! Now you have your own record store setup!
Thanks Mark!!
Ohhh! At 5:43,there is what I call a Swatch shot, long enough to see the second hand tink along,I love that.🥰
LOL! And you can see how late we were up last night working on this project, yawn.
A job well done,very impressive!

Nicely done!
Nice work!
Your storage & organization are #goals.
Aww, thanks Sharon! It's definitely a work in progress, but I actually enjoy organizing (guess I'm weird like that, lol!)

@Our 80s Life yay!! It will take awhile to get it where I want it but we'll get there. Buying a new home and all that it entails is crazy, right?!
Great job!
Nice job!!
Looks great!
Keith's shirt is awesome
that’s awesome. You have a great aventures.
Looks nice! Do you have a separate section for your country music collection?
😂🤣
Nice work. I found that the best way to organize LPs is autobiographical …
Thank you!
Do you have the exact link for the list of items and measurements?

Can you share the plans and measurements of the shelf? I would like to build one
