I may have a solution for you brother: (TLDR: Read books/Listen to audiobooks/Listen to debates) I had severe anger issues as a young man and would start throwing punches within moments of being agitated (I never ever hit a woman, I'm refferring to arguments with men). What gave me patience in moments of verbal conflict is I listened to a lot of debates and audiobooks on UA-cam for fun and through that I learned how to handle myself because after 4 or 5 months I started to feel like I just downloaded the ability to handle myself verbally. This coupled with confidence in the fact that I can physically defend myself if someone attacks me has given me the ability to just observe the other person no matter how much I disagree.

I feel bad for this girl because I know how it is to be brainwashed with these thoughts. I used to be the same way. It wasn’t until I was married when I understood. I wish I can talk to her and tell her that Subhanallah when you do you obligation as a wife and be intimate with your husband it benefits you as well. Your relationship grows and you feel at ease. Yes there are instances where is difficult and you can refuse but other than that, technically you are oppressing your husband and yourself as well.
I understand his point but there is something he is missing and that is Consent. Sexual intimacy is a physical and energy interchange between husband and wife and therefore it must be recriporcal. Of course both parts must feel sexually satisfied but the fact that you provide financially to your wife does not mean that you can have sex whenever you want. As an ummah we need to develop more sensitivity. We are not animals. Your wife might not feeling in the mood for sexual intimacy, or she might feel sick or she might just not feel any sexual arousal that day and that is fine. Husbands need to respect that because a husband needs this wife consent to have sex otherwise he is forcing her. Obviously of your wife/husband never wants to have sex he/she is taling your right away and that is not fair on you. But you cant expect you partner to feel sexually active anytime you want. This type of speech demonstrate that he dos not really understand how sexual energy works. Having sex is not as easy as pressing a bottom and you are ready for it. Sex arousal depens on how emotionally close you feel to your partner, on how stress you are, on ylur physical and psychologia health. Islam is balance guys alhamdulilah and it feels so natural so we shouldnt be taking extremisms like this. It is fine if your partner is not always on the mood for sex, you can work that out as a couple because more importantly if you wife is Never ready for sexual intimacy there is always something wrong with her. Maybe she is not in the best of health (psychological diatress, physicial sicknes...) or maybe she just dont feel enough close to her man as to have sex. Women's sexual arousal is totally linked to the emotional bond with her husband. And men, as the brother said, have more sexual desires and it takes them less efforts to awake that sexual energy. Get to know your partner, get close to your parttner emotionally and make sure he/she feels respected, valued and satisfied in bed. Sexual intimacy is a gift that Allah gave us to not only to create life and satisfy our desires but to create a special bond with our partners. Alhamdulilah it is an act that is made to dignify you by doing in just with you spouse in a respectfull and meaningful manner. May Allah teach us better.

When she said that the man should be patient and the women should be patient, just be equal. I agree on the importance of patience but not on the point of being equal. Also patience has limits. As we already established in the video the drive that men and women have are unequal. As is with many things. And I believe in a relationship, that things are never equal at the exact same time. There is always a give and take, a push and pull, or a balance. Not equality or else nothing would flow or move. In this instance, I think women would need to give of themselves more(though this can vary from person to persob), but men will also give more of themselves in many other instances where the women would require. Therefore creating balance and fairness in the relationship. Atleast this is how i see it as a young muslim myself.

In the beginning, I thought that it was a bit much saying that a wife should not say no to intimacy with her husband, but later when another girl asks if the wife has a valid reason, he said yes, she can say no if there is a valid reason like being too tired, not the right place or time etc and that the couple should discuss it and come to a compromise. And it is also the duty of a husband to satisfy the intimate needs of his wife, so a married couple are responsible for fulfilling the needs of their partner, and if one or the other say no due to a valid reason, they should discuss it and try to come to a compromise. I don't understand why this is a problem. If both sides recognize each other's right, understand each other, following the Islamic teachings, then there shouldn't be any problem. My husband never asks when he sees me very tired, sick or even upset with something. I was helping a family friend with some computer problem and the daughter was very religious. She prayed all her prayers and was reading hadith. I didn't talk to her much but she listened to her mother and didn't watch TV or movies. Finding someone like that is so hard unless you use family connections and ask someone at the masjid for assistance. We just see the mainstream typical woman and believe all hope is lost. A good way in general is to avoid western or westernized women. They have feminist ideas and rarely know anything about starting a family. Someone who takes their religion seriously will be easier to deal with in non western countries. Each generation is getting further and further away from basic knowledge of Islam.

I had severe anger issues as a young man and would start throwing punches within moments of being agitated (I never ever hit a woman, I'm refferring to arguments with men). What gave me patience in moments of verbal conflict is I listened to a lot of debates and audiobooks on UA-cam for fun and through that I learned how to handle myself because after 4 or 5 months I started to feel like I just downloaded the ability to handle myself verbally. This coupled with confidence in the fact that I can physically defend myself if someone attacks me has given me the ability to just observe the other person no matter how much I disagree.

I feel bad for this girl because I know how it is to be brainwashed with these thoughts. I used to be the same way. It wasn’t until I was married when I understood. I wish I can talk to her and tell her that Subhanallah when you do you obligation as a wife and be intimate with your husband it benefits you as well. Your relationship grows and you feel at ease. I understand his point but there is something he is missing and that is Consent. Sexual intimacy is a physical and energy interchange between husband and wife and therefore it must be recriporcal. Of course both parts must feel sexually satisfied but the fact that you provide financially to your wife does not mean that you can have sex whenever you want. As an ummah we need to develop more sensitivity. We are not animals. Your wife might not feeling in the mood for sexual intimacy, or she might feel sick or she might just not feel any sexual arousal that day and that is fine. Husbands need to respect that because a husband needs this wife consent to have sex otherwise he is forcing her. Obviously of your wife/husband never wants to have sex he/she is taling your right away and that is not fair on you. But you cant expect you partner to feel sexually active anytime you want. This type of speech demonstrate that he dos not really understand how sexual energy works. Having sex is not as easy as pressing a bottom and you are ready for it. Sex arousal depens on how emotionally close you feel to your partner, on how stress you are, on ylur physical and psychologia health. Islam is balance guys alhamdulilah and it feels so natural so we shouldnt be taking extremisms like this. It is fine if your partner is not always on the mood for sex, you can work that out as a couple because more importantly if you wife is Never ready for sexual intimacy there is always something wrong with her. Maybe she is not in the best of health (psychological diatress, physicial sicknes...) or maybe she just dont feel enough close to her man as to have sex. Women's sexual arousal is totally linked to the emotional bond with her husband. And men, as the brother said, have more sexual desires and it takes them less efforts to awake that sexual energy. Get to know your partner, get close to your parttner emotionally and make sure he/she feels respected, valued and satisfied in bed. Sexual intimacy is a gift that Allah gave us to not only to create life and satisfy our desires but to create a special bond with our partners. Alhamdulilah it is an act that is made to dignify you by doing in just with you spouse in a respectfull and meaningful manner. May Allah teach us better.
totally! and while i do understand how a woman expects her husband to protect her (aka fulfill his responsibility) the woman should also fulfill her own responsibilities but to term those "responsibilities" as solely sexual acts is totally different! i understand it is a right of a man for her wife to provide her that, but we need to approach this with empathy and patience. if my husband is sick, not feeling well, in a bad mental space overall, i of course do not expect him to protect me if i'm under attack. if anything i'll switch the roles up and try protecting him to the best of my abilities because he's weak. exactly if your wife is not in the write head space for sexual intimacy, you can't force her! she probably has valid reasons to not do so as you mentioned above.

When she said that the man should be patient and the women should be patient, just be equal. I agree on the importance of patience but not on the point of being equal. Also patience has limits. As we already established in the video the drive that men and women have are unequal. As is with many things. And I believe in a relationship, that things are never equal at the exact same time. There is always a give and take, a push and pull, or a balance. Not equality or else nothing would flow or move. In this instance, I think women would need to give of themselves more(though this can vary from person to persob), but men will also give more of themselves in many other instances where the women would require. Therefore creating balance and fairness in the relationship. Atleast this is how i see it as a young muslim myself.

I don't understand why this is a problem. If both sides recognize each other's right, understand each other, following the Islamic teachings, then there shouldn't be any problem. My husband never asks when he sees me very tired, sick or even upset with something. On the other hand, whenever he asks, I MAKE myself in the mood, believing, in syaa Allah, Allah will make it easy for me. And He did, everytime. So I have never felt oppressed, tortured, or anything bad by it. We've been married for almost 30 years, and it has NEVER been a problem, since day 1. And I hope it will never will be...

She prayed all her prayers and was reading hadith. I didn't talk to her much but she listened to her mother and didn't watch TV or movies. Finding someone like that is so hard unless you use family connections and ask someone at the masjid for assistance.
We just see the mainstream typical woman and believe all hope is lost. A good way in general is to avoid western or westernized women. They have feminist ideas and rarely know anything about starting a family. Someone who takes their religion seriously will be easier to deal with in non western countries. My ex wife a hijabi feminist who kept on throwing her phd in my face. Is now single and miserable with great regret. She kept on saying to lower your gaze and would neglect me for literally years… she didn’t understand a man’s nature at all and her dad made her think she’s Cinderella spoon-fed her and raised her naive and sheltered. She was so abusive and insulting … it was downright giving me cancer. I literally had to be hospitalized one day cause she gave me a mild stroke wallah. She would compare me to other men saying they have postgrad degrees and are executives at a corporation and I run a few small businesses, and actually making good income. She would down right drag me through the mud.

It literally has destroyed dozens of Islamic households in front of my eyes including mine. Then when you bring up a second wife she says you’re a misogynist and threatens to leave you and take the kids. @f3mcell this is the biggest problem wallah. The father doesn’t teach his daughter basic Islamic principles. He just says my daughter is a princess and a phd and she is always right. I always lowered my tone and was respectful to him but he’d just take her side. He said to me once how come you don’t have 3 houses for her and that I’m hiding money from my businesses. I tried to go to few mufti’s and shaikhs to seek counseling to intervene and help us. They would say no, we don’t want any shaikhs telling us what to do. I said ok let’s go to marriage counseling and she’d say there’s nothing wrong. I said the Hadith says the angels are cursing you.
I literally have women throwing themselves at me outside. I have a fist length beard and am on strict sunnah with all aspects of my life. I can’t go around committing zina or look at porn and masturbate as she would tell me. I said that brings darkness in our lives and it’s completely haram. She said she blames it on post natal problems.
