I had a 2 hour conversation with a fellow Dutch guy with Morrocan background on the train. What made it interesting, is that he left Islam, and decided to follow a form of Satanism. I'm a native Dutch, born and raised Roman catholic, who reverted to Islam. Love seeing this. Two people with opposing thoughts having a constructive conversation about their beliefs. No shouting or putting each other down. They are firm in their own belief but respectful to the others. The way the world should be. That despite all our differences, we can still respect each other as human beings.
What I've learnt is that too much freedom is actually dangerous for the soul. A certain form of restraint is necessary to appreciate something in its entirety. That being said, the conversation was really an eye opener, very respectful and strengthened my belief in Allah. Alhamdulillah.

I had a 2 hour conversation with a fellow Dutch guy with Morrocan background on the train. What made it interesting, is that he left Islam, and decided to follow a form of Satanism. I'm a native Dutch, born and raised Roman catholic, who reverted to Islam. A lot of people criticised me for keeping in touch with the guy after we first met, but his personal views (especially the various parts where we disagree) actually increase my believe in Allah swt. Point being, I like watching Ali talking to this person, keeping the conversation going is key in spreading a true and positive image of our beautiful religion. Abu Dawud At-Tayalisi recorded that Ibn `Abbas said, "Sawdah feared that the Messenger of Allah might divorce her and she said, `O Messenger of Allah! Do not divorce me; give my day to `A'ishah.' And he did, and later on Allah sent down,
وَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَـفَتْ مِن بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزاً أَوْ إِعْرَاضاً فَلاَ جُنَاْحَ عَلَيْهِمَآ
(And if a woman fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part, there is no sin on them both) Ibn `Abbas said, "Whatever (legal agreement) the spouses mutually agree to is allowed.''. At-Tirmidhi recorded it and said, "Hasan Gharib''. In the Two Sahihs, it is recorded that `A'ishah said that when Sawdah bint Zam`ah became old, she forfeited her day to `A'ishah, and the Prophet used to spend Sawdah's night with `A'ishah. There is a similar narration also collected by Al-Bukhari. Al-Bukhari also recorded that `A'ishah commented;
وَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَـفَتْ مِن بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزاً أَوْ إِعْرَاضاً

But the Prophet’s faith did not allow that. So yeah he did have devil attached to him just like every other human being but what he did with the devil’s whisper is what makes him the most pious.😊
