It’s a lot of bike for sure. That is why I ended up selling the Zx10r after a couple months. Way way too much for the street IMO. I have just as much fun on my R3. Good luck and be safe.
I'm an older rider too...riding 2021 ZX10. Love to see older riders ripping big azz Kawis👍. Check out my humble channel: youtube.com/@greenlightgo917?si=RAHOqjo2nuyVh8rK
Helmets off to you sir! I hope to still be riding a sportbike when I'm 76. I'm 59 and Chris recently video feature dynoed my '96 SRAD. Be safe young man and BTW, WELCOME to SC!!!!
@@m1cky6 Thanks so much for the comment! My SRAD has seen track days as well road racing school and managed to stay this nice. It's not a garage queen and has been much enjoyed!
Hey, Jim. That is fantastic that you are still passionate about riding after all these years. We salute you and wish you many more happy years of riding. 👍 We all hope to have the same longevity that you have.
....and I'm 57 with a 2019 ZX10R that I asked my friends here in the UK about gettting it's ECU flashed for my performance and they thought I was nuts. Saying that surely there is already enough power for me. I'll just show them this guy, 76 and still going strong. I think the factory (has to) ties they poor bikes hands behind its back due to all the regulations etc. Thanks to Mr Moore the horses can run free again. Shame you aren't in the UK, I'm not sure I can trust anyone else to bring out my bikes best!!!
This isn't a South Carolina welcome but ....... welcome from Georgia. I am a 52yo Sport Bike rider and I am usually the oldest in any crowd of riders (I am just not about the Harley's, Goldwings, ect). I commend you for continuing to follow your passion.

Fantastic video!!! I wonder how many more folk in their 70s are out there still riding 1K sportbikes? I wouldn't be surprised if there were a lot more than we assume. I'm 56 and just bought my 8th sportbike, a 2023 GSX-R750, and thought I was getting a bit too old to be riding these things. 😂😂😂
What a great video I always enjoy watching and now see Mr Jim still riding at 76 years old, i can only pray to be riding at his age! God bless Mr Jim and everyone at Moore Mafia you guys rock!
Brotha Moore, this only proves that riding a 'croch rocket' is not about age, it's about being in shape enough to do it !! This could be applied to riding the BMW s1000RR as well. Right here in northern Virginia, I've seen a 73 year old "brotha" riding his brand new BMW s1000RR(M edition with carbon wheels and carbon mudguards, etc..etc..) and he still goes to the gym 3 times a week to work out. He's been riding for 50 years and has NEVER had an 'Upright' motorcycle in his entire life !! Yet, he has NO backaches and he does alot of touring on his BMW motorcycles. He told me that he thought about buying a suzuki Hayabusa, but the "flickability" of the busa was too slow for him and too heavy and he's 6'4" tall !!!!! I'm 6'3" tall and he advised me to get the BMW s1000 M edition or 'RR' edition because the engineers that created the BMW s1000RR were naturally tall riders themselves and he told me that he's NEVER had a moment where comfort was an issue. Matter of fact, Chris, he told me that he took his 2019 BMW s1000RR from here, northern Virginia, all the way to California and then all the way back here to Virginia without a single electrical or mechanical issue !!(BMW has a 3 year/36,000 warranty and roadside assistance with ZERO deductible) and he did this when he was 69 years old !!! That inspired me so much that I nearly came to tears !!!!!
