Great Unit for the price. I paid $250 for mine, and don't regret it. I ran mine with a 4 channel amplifier and a 4 channel Memphis crossover with Kicker DS series tweeter's, 5.25, and 6x9s. The BEST sound quality sound I ever installed.
Just purchase another car, and will be putting the Dual head unit in it. And that's replacing a Pioneer.

@@yuhdem8782 That was my decision to do, since I was also using a self powered Kicker 10 inch subwoofer enclosure. Plus it was in a small car, (2001 Honda Civic Ex Coupe).
For you to use an amplifier or not, that will have to be your decision. But this head unit is a great starting point.

I put the older version (Xdcpa10bt) in my wife's suburban and for the money it's a great head unit. Its easy to use and The android auto is awesome.

You cannot just add CarPlay to a factory headunit. If you buy a headunit like this, it has a USB built in for Carplay

Simply plug into the USB of the headunit with your iPhone and it should connect automatically. If it's not working, make sure you're using an Apple USB Cable

Check not on the bottom left corner of the front display, but rather to the actual left side of the display.

There are no Video Inputs on it so the only possibility would be with the Backup Camera input which defeats the purpose of having a backup camera
