Nice vid man. I'm really looking forward to flying mine. I think it will be a touch n' go machine!

it can be a wheelie and go one like the X-Fly J65 can be. I have a few more flights on this since and finally got her dialed in. The elevators must be down to the marks indicated on the side of the fuse. Good flyer but speed needed for landing. Drops a wing quick if to slow. Thanks so much!

Lights are nice, wish they added them . Airliners look good with lights

Yeah the easy lights are nowhere near scale but they help.

Hi as you know I watch all your videos and comment, the maiden for this Twinliner did surprise me some what, as did the start of this one, I am sorry but the battery capacity has nothing to do with the ESC getting hot, if you have the throttle high the ESC will draw the power from the battery and get hot fast, if you lower the throttle the ESC will not demand so much "Juice" and not get hot as fast, this is regardless of the Battery size in mAh or C rating... I absolutely agree that everyone should read the manual - the manual is provided for a reason - as you found out, its a noob mistake , and I am surprised you did that...it looks good with the Easylights and that dark sky (I will add them to mine) - it still looks a little sensitive on (elevator), Oh and it will ROG, on well maintained Grass...

Yeah I am a little ashamed of this one, I normally do more research and a better informed presentation, But I self pressured myself into getting this out. I need to slow down.

@@FatGuyFliesRC I got my Twinliner in the air today, 3s 1300 off our grass strip. Take off run was long but once in the air it flew really well. Some right aileron and rudder to trim out. Straight and level at half throttle where it does fly at a realistic speed. The key with this plane is to keep the weight down which can be achieved with a small light lipo, ( The 1300 3s is 150g lighter than 2600 4s ! ) this is a small plane with small wing area remember.

I built my Twinliner today. Goes together quickly, but the manual is a bit lacking about the neutral position for the elevators, there is a drawing but it doesn't give any written info, not even an arrow pointing to the black mark on the fuselage. Also the main gears really have to pushed hard into the slot to get them located.
I've rearranged the layout for the lipo and electrics. I've fitted a small 1300 120c 3s lipo which slides neatly into the compartment where the receiver would normally go. That allows for getting the cg right with the lighter lipo. AUW of 796g ready to fly. I could reduce that a little more if I remove the Eagle V2 gyro and wiring. I might not need it but haven't flown it yet !

Sounds like a sound setup. post a video of the maiden please.

@@FatGuyFliesRC I've made several flights on the Twinliner now. The 1300 3s provides ample power thanks to the lighter AUW. I've now added fixed split flaps which reduce the flying speed, shorten the take off run ( from grass ! ) and allow slow landings with a proper high alpha flare. No nasty stall characteristics, its a shame Xfly don't specify smaller , lighter 3s lipo's. The lighter weight provides the biggest gains with this model. I'll post some photo's on rcgroups soon.

Simply used some velcro and they are EASY lights rechargeable and can be moved plane to plane. here is a link: www.amazon.com/Wireless-Airplane-Quadcopter-Rechargeable-Lights%EF%BC%883PCS/dp/B07MPLKXGN/ref=pd_ci_mcx_mh_mcx_views_0?pd_rd_w=ZApRW&content-id=amzn1.sym.352fa4e9-2aa8-47c3-b5ac-8a90ddbece20%3Aamzn1.symc.40e6a10e-cbc4-4fa5-81e3-4435ff64d03b&pf_rd_p=352fa4e9-2aa8-47c3-b5ac-8a90ddbece20&pf_rd_r=KHSSEG5XG6XKB69FHXH9&pd_rd_wg=XN5G7&pd_rd_r=a3d589c6-bbf6-4515-801e-01200399f75b&pd_rd_i=B07MPLKXGN
