Great info video....I'm looking at getting this type of rooftop but they only stock the 140cm not 120cm so it's hard to find ATM....I have a Subaru Forester so I'm keen to get one and try it I'm over sleeping on the ground with a swag it's been great but I'm over kneeling down all the time and breaking my back I'm only 36 but damn I'm over packing it up too lol 😂
Thanks I've been looking at getting a rooftop tent to put on my trailer for some time now and I'm pretty sure I'll be going with the dune over the king's for sheer setup times as it's just me I don't need the extra space even though it's not much different
I have a 2006 crv. I am finding that I’m stuck between this and the compact nomad because of my roof load limit with my 270 awning. The benefit of the compact is that it takes up less space on the roof so my awning can fit. And I can still use the sunroof. But the 120cm nomad is far quicker to set up.
Hello, I enjoyed the video.I wonder what kind of product you used for Garoba. I would appreciate it if you could let me know the purchase site. This is South Korea.
Hello:) glad you enjoyed it. You can get most things from this site www.anacondastores.com However, I don’t know if they will work in South Korea. By the way I LOVE South Korea. I studied there for a little while :)
Hi, how about the max roof weight of 40kg, I see a lot of cars with 60-80kg, so the 40kg for the CR-V seems quite low. Altough the gen 1 en later gens also have a weight of 60-80kg. Did you have any problems with the weight on your CR-V roof?
This so cool! Thanks for sharing with us! Question: Do you think it's possible to travel Australia for a working holiday without buying a car once you get there?
Glad you found it! I think it depends on what you’re looking to get from your experience and where you are. If you’re in a city, easy peasy no car needed. Out in the country it is possible but a hole lot harder and it depends on what you are willing to deal with.
Hey! So excited for you :) You'll have to look at the weight difference and it'll hang over your car more so just be careful with that as I am not sure it is legal.
Sure! I attached it to the tent not the roof rack. Maybe have a look at that first and let me know. My tent had slider on all the side so I simple just attached my awning to them. Please feel free to ask more questions:)
A video filled with tight closeups of campers and tons of opinions and dialogue - less than 10 seconds of actual video of the tent - how it's attached or so many other important just fundamental considerations - instead this is mainly about "feelings". Thanks. :|
Tent, rooftop tent, van, caravan? What way would your prefer to explore?
I’d happily try a rooftop tent
Breaking my head on same question :)

Seems like a great way to get around. Fast and easy!
It is great for moving around the country!

Very cool! Yeah set up time really does make a difference when you’re doing it every day. Hope it all goes well for you!
I actually never thought of getting a rooftop tent until I saw you traveling around in one. Seems like a good idea 👍
Ahh glad to have shown you something a bit different t
Great real-world review. I'm going to buy one on the strength of it. Well done.
I hope you enjoy!
This is awesome I've got a crv and now I'm pretty convinced to ditch alot of my camping stuff.
Thanks heaps!!
Ah very nice! Definitely go for it! But the camping gear is always good when you want to go further into the bush:)

Yesss I love it! I’m doubling down on my choice of getting a rooftop tent on my crv 😝
YES! Love to hear that!!! It’s a new kind of life!
Very cool set up. Nice to have a small car camping set up.
Thank you, thank you! Yeah it’s not that common.
Hey Guys, Awsome setup!! I have same Crv but I needed the Dune 140 cm tent. Can I use the same roof racks and would it fit?
Hey! So excited for you :) You'll have to look at the weight difference and it'll hang over your car more so just be careful with that as I am not sure it is legal.
@@MyWorldExperience Thank You for your response. Yes it will come out from the top. I guess I will go with the 120 cm one. Cheers
Hope you have some amazing adventures!
Thanks for shared ❤❤❤
My pleasure:)))
hello I have a honda 2005 crv - how did you attach the awning onto the roof rack with a tent on the rack as well - I'm having trouble finding that out
Sure! I attached it to the tent not the roof rack. Maybe have a look at that first and let me know. My tent had slider on all the side so I simple just attached my awning to them.

Hey mate, is that rooftop easy to install and uninstall when you are not on road-trip ?
Hey! Yeah it is if you have two people. A bit difficult on your own.
@@MyWorldExperience Thank you, that helps - very important info indeed :)
Is that a dige running in the middle of your cabin?
It is indeed haha
does council allow to camp in any car park usong roof top tent?
No, you have to check to make sure because everywhere has different rules.
Very helpful video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Glad it was helpful! Happy camping:)
Is there much effect on fuel consumption?
Not massive amounts but yes you would feel it from the weight and air restriction
That's alot of useful info! Proceeds to bookmark the video for later use!*
Hahah you’d love a rooftop tent!!
Honda crv is a good car you have beautiful free live i like that... 😊
It was a great car while I had it and I recommend the life style to anyone
Now I am jealous of your lifestyle ..😄
Haha no! You’re living the life too!
Crv roof load limit 75kg rtt+rack+blanket=? Be careful what you put on your rooftop.
Yep, that’s they dynamic weight limit and that is never over loaded. We keep it under by several kg

Is this bolted to the factory roof rack?
