Why does it have a mode to record safety track when it has 32 bit float recording? Isn't 32 bit float guaranteed to not clip?

Weird how this video doesnt mention anything about being able to plug in a lapel mic? Is that not a feature? Also weird that it doesn't work with time code yet does internal recording.... seems like dji is holding out and will make a better model in a couple months to sell more gear just like they always do lol.

Toggle 32-bit float audio recording with the DJI Mimo app for high dynamic range in complex sound environments. Manual: bit.ly/3OgiDP7 >Mark

6:10 18 hours? I saw the same DJI Mic 2 Transmitter. The product description says 6 hours battery life.

No locking connector for a lav Mic. That’s a shame!

There is supposedly a cable catch in the clip to hold the wire for strain relief. I saw it on one of the videos.

If you already have the first model, no need for any update, no much improvement to keep spending more money... don't expect it will do everything for you, you still have to edit the audio in post-production.

The 32 bit Float is worth the price. That will save your bacon.

@@shenkejiang7511 I have the first model and it works flawlessly. Unless your work depends on it, no need to keep on upgrading every single year. Electronony companies do this all the time. But if you do not have the first model, and you have the cash to buy this model go for it.

Looks like trash compared to the first ones, but I'm glad the internals have more going on

I was waiting to see if it supports timecode. No timecode, means upgrade to rode instead.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something while hooking up the receiver. It fits into the cold shoe on my camera fine but there's no way to tighten it, it's lose and easily falls out. I'm looking at all of my gear and all of my devices have the small square piece that slides into the cold shoe on the camera and also have the dial to tighten it down. There's no dial on the DJI receiver. My Rode mic fits into the cold shoe slot of the camera and it also has the dial to tighten it down. I can't tighten the DJI receiver to the cold shoe slot. Am I missing a piece??

For portability and flexibility yes for the DJI Mic2! But for audio quality, I think there are way more better options in the market such as Rode Wireless Pro, or moreover tascam / Deity / Sennheiser products.
