Watched Jax go from hopeful Prince to Legacy President to The Reaper in 7 years. Greatest show ever .
100% no show has ever come close to touching how good SOA was! Watched it entirely 3 times now and still come back for these clips as reminders.
Ever? No. I love SoA but it's not the best show ever. That belongs to Vikings. Sons is a great show. Vikings is a masterpiece. When Ope died, the show lost its heart. The storytelling just stagnated.
@@billdover3165 Vikings was my #2, post Ragnar, Ivar was amazing, but his death was such an anti-climatic ending to such a great character. But you are not wrong, I could find pros and cons to both that make them almost equal. SOA just ended at the right time, where I felt vikings dragged a little too much

The most dangerous man in the world is a man with nothing to lose. When Tara died, Jax's soul went with her. His vessel stayed behind to tie up loose ends, but as soon as those loose ends were sown......he discarded the vessel.
This! I believe Tara and Jax were twin flames or divinely connected. They were each other's destiny.

What an amazing show and finale.
Its such a small but important detail that he smiles before he asks the women who she is. It shows a man whos finally come to peace with himself and is ready and even welcomes death
The Shroud of Turin imagery was strong. Who knew Sutter was Catholic

I feel like the woman was obviously the angel of Death and he knew it was lurking around the corner. I love how she would pop up at random during not an episode but thee ENTIRE SERIES. Such goos placement
It would been very creepy if she had no lines in the background in the corner the whole time
Not only that but she was literally drinking wine and eating bread
You also see her in Dublin.
She seemed to appear whenever Jax was in crises or at a crossroads.
She shows up just before someone’s about to die usually haha I think she had like 18 appearances
years after the finale the love is still flourishing on like my 20th rewatch now feels like i learn smth new every single time

I usually make it once a year that the series gets a rewatch, Same with The Shield.
Same! Is it me or any movies Charlie Hunnam makes now cannot compare to this character and when I see him I automatically think he will start acting like the SOA character he did so brilliantly! Maybe I just hope 😁

Revenge spree? No, this whole scene is a reckoning. Jax cleans up all the messes he made, the only way he knows how, and removes himself from the board to assure he can do no more damage to anyone he cares about that's still alive.

Favorite scene in the whole series is when opie gets to shoot agent stall and chibs get to knife jimmy o. "Take care of me girls Philip yae"... "and this is what she felt." I could watch that scene for days, with the chief telling her she really should have some...( reefer).

This show is hands down one of the best of all time. Excellent storytelling, insanely funny, action packed, and chock full of memorable quotes, yet brought us all to tears on numerous occasions. I never get tired of watching and I think I’m on my 15th run through the show now

Just finished yesterday what a amazing show
Wayne's love for Gemma was always going to be the death of him. And Gemma? Her death in the garden was brilliant. The garden she loved as a child but lost when she left her parents and then she symbolized the snake in the garden (with the club being the garden and her and Clay's lies destroying everyone and everything) so for her to come full circle and die in the garden she loved in her youth was a brilliant twist.
And the final standoff between Jax and Marks was amazing. No words needed. Marks knew why he was going to die. Payback for Bobby was something Jax had to have, before he could face the end. And Marks? Credit to him, he faced it like a man.

In the late 90s, when FX first started as a channel, it was 24/7 60s Batman and Green Hornet tv shows. ~25yrs later and it's one of the 2 best channels for original programming (with AMC). Pretty, pretttttty, prettay good.
Almost as epic as Micheal settling the family business at the end of Godfather

I've heard she's symbolic of God, would make sense as they zoomed in on what she was eating (red wine or grape juice and a loaf of bread), but she could very well be death/reaper.

It’s the girl who works at the ice cream shops dead mother. She died because of JTs wreck and has been tied to Jax and the club ever since.
Recently I rewatched the series and paid extra attention to her every single scene. The only explanation that ties all her appearances together for me is that she is JT, Jax's dad. That explains some of the things she says, why she only appears to Jax and Gemma and it would be another nod to Hamlet which inspired SoA.

Mayans was better and more realistic and gritty. Season 3 to 5 were better than alot of seasons of SOA

The thing is, after the series the ending was good. I really felt: They deserve it, EZ deserved it. It wasn't nice. But I think it showed us: This people are not nice. After Sons of Anarchy I loved everything had to do with MCs, I even played with the thinking of maybe one day having an own MC. But after Mayans MC I finally realized that this people are violent thugs murdering others for their benefit. They are bad people who deserved to be punished, not tragic heroes you should celebrate like Jacks, or Opie, or Bobby or even somehow Clay. The only thing you can which for them is to leave before it's too late like Angel did in Mayans MC.

I've been outside many small Town Courthouses , with no Cop out front.
2 summers ago, there was a murder outside the courthouse in the small town about an hour away from me. Even with 5 officers in the building & the station was less than 5mins away, the guy still managed to get to his car and drive away. They found him easy enough, but still, he left the scene in a vehicle. Shooters name was Dakota Wright, town was New Bern, NC.

Seeing that woman everywhere led to me belive she's Lady Death.
She gave Jax the same blanket in Season 1 when he slept in the cemetery. She once told Gemma, "Everyone knows me" before walking into a church. Although, she looks like the woman who was accidentally killed in the collision that took John Teller's life (Brooke Putner's mother btw), I think she is the embodiment of Christ.

@@chrismccoy6481 I have seen it a few times. The first season were methodical, well thought out arcs that portrayed SAMCRO as a tactical unit with well thought out ploys and were never reactive. Then enter Jax's revenge tour for Tara. SAMCRO would never back any of that. You don't have to play to our reality, but you do have to play to the show's reality, and it lost that. So, it goes a little beyond whether I liked it or not...
@@meekeeboy Lol they are an outlaw MC not a special forces unit. Showing them as some kinda "tactical unit" isnt realistic or makes any sense. She i think only Clay had actual military training from what i remember.

The homeless woman jaks gets bumping into, is she the same woman jaks's father was supposed to have killed in the crash that killed his father? She looked like the woman jaks sees in the photo in some guys house when jaks goes to talk about the window the man's daughter broke, the guy says his wife died years previous, it's weird because in season 3 when they were in northern ireland, the same homeless woman was there aswell 🤔🤔🤔🤔

The homeless lady was Jesus Christ she always was around in the times of bad or when something was happening stressful too one of the characters she was around Jax and Gemma a lot
She was actually Jaxs Guardian angel, thats why the always showed her as homeless and dirty, representing Jaxs soul

Watched the series twice, before is was a father and after. The only thing I was thinking the second time what a bad, bad father he is.
This show was so ridiculous; everything was resolved by shooting someone in the head. And it was meant to be a shock every time. No repercussions.
He was a weak and bad leader trying to live up to a legacy. The moment he took over, it was bad decision after bad decision. Not sure why the others continued to follow. Good show, I enjoyed it but that's just my two cents.

This show started off so good, the last season or two was absolute trash. You could really tell that they ordered so many episodes and were stretching out failed storylines.

I didn't like the last episode. I know it was based off of Hamlet but Jax killing himself was so stupid.
Could have done without the Jesus on the bike thing but i found it great otherwise.
It made sense. What was Jax supposed to do run? He killed the president of another charter. Killing his mom after realizing she's the one that caused all the chaos. How could anyone walk away from that?

considering his Family's History and such, considering all that led up to the moment, it made perfect sense for Jax to go out on his own terms. He always steered his own course, until the moment he let go of the Handlebars. At that point he let go of it all.
Only way really. He had the respect from the club and he went out his own way rather that the club kill him. They all loved Jax

The ending sucked. Badass Jax wasnt man enough to face the reaper he preached about. He said no one was above the club and that meaning is worthless when u kill yourself and take the easy way out. The weakest characters faced the reaper but yet the so called strongest character commited suicide. Chibs was telling Juice how weak he was to try and commit suicide then Jax went and did it then its okay smh.
U all realize the SOA got taken and replaced with men ousted from the M/c world??? Look at the members and think back when it went sideways... Now it was Rooster, Tim DOCKTOR & Minika along w/ men whom escaped from ADA County PRISION trying to hide and Priest sends the drug king pins after the true ones and the fakes are wreaking havoc setting up and tarnishing the true SOA's thru drug world & M/C world.. think about it ....get it now?
Even after all these years I can't decided exactly what the Homeless Woman is supposed to be.
I think she's supposed to represent either God, the virgin Mary, or the Grim Reaper. The lingering shot of the the bread and wine, along with her being homeless, has a lot of religious overtones..
Supposedly she’s the woman (or her ghost) who died because of John’s accident, who was the mother of the teenager that started hanging around in S7.
Soa was a shitshow , I loved it but it was comical …
