hoooooooly moly! that first solo Chappers does, not only was it absolute KILLER, but the look on Caps face was like "Oh wow, look at what MY OWN guitar can do!!! I didnt know that?!" hahahahaha amazing guys..def your (both) best performance so far!
They definitely had the mojo flowin in that room.
plus one!
That first jam was the best playing I've heard from chappers. Very very good.
That and the PRS SE vs PRS first jam by Chappers, those two are my favourite ones
Here thanks to Rob's latest video 😉
I saw your demo of a set of lace pickups and loved it. You got some wild hair brother
chappers solo...freaking amazing and i don't give compliments easily...well done mate!
Still the best and most tasty thing I ever heard Rob ever play!!
Great playing from Chappers - as usual - but the real eye-opener for me is how much Lee's playing has developed since some of the earlier videos… Lovely stuff my friend… even Rob is doing a tribute to you by playing your signature guitar… oh and BTW… that Sensor amp. I want to eat it.
I agree, Rob, your tone was exquisite in this demo. Great match of guitar, amp and technique.
Neat that a moment of pure soul-body connection like that got caught on tape for everyone to see. Just wonderful.
Rob, the solos in this video are your absolute best in my opinion. That was incredible!!!!
The Rob solo ending at about 3:39 is a lump in the throat, leading to tears. Straight from the HEART!
Best solo's I'v heard from Rob and Captain out of all your videos! Keep the video's coming, You guys do the best reviews on UA-cam.
3.00-3.35 was tasty as f*ck! Captain was like oh daeeeeeemn!
THIS.. people, is what makes me smile.
love them!
I've never heard of these amps before but that lead tone is killer, as is Rob's soulful playing.
That solo sent shivers down my back. It was b-e-a-utiful.
OMG!! The last three vids have been amazing. First Captains sweet playing on the Tony Bruno vid and now Chappers on this one. !!
I´m so glad that I am subbed to this channel :D
Really that was the best solo from Chappers to me and I've been here for a while. Due to personal taste I usually enjoy listening to the Capt more, but that was awesome. It's funny watching the Capt's face while Rob is playing it.
After seeing this review, and hearing that tone, I went out to try it. After 20 mins of fiddling with it, I knew I had to buy it (sorry Andertons I'm in the U.S.). The sensor is truly a phenomenal amp! The folks at Two Rock have created a modern classic. A very versatile amp with very usable features. Incredible tones on the clean channel and ballsy modded Marshall tones on the lead channel. I'm posting this to let you folks know it's definitely worth checking out. As close to a perfect amp as I have found.
Chappers that playing up to 3:40 was absolutely sublime and gave the cap'n a big smile on his face!
That was one of the greatest overdriven blues solos I've ever heard. O.O Massive respect!
That has got to be the best that I had heard Rob play. Chilling.
I've watched a ridiculous number of your videos, and this is the best tone and playing I've seen from you both. Capt. Lee absolutely killed it! I like it when Chappers backs off of the gain a bit and uses nice phrasing. Well done, sirs.
I think I just heard my ultimate bucket list amp. Ive watched practically all the Chappers and Capt Lee vids and this one just blew me away. Best amp tone and its shows that a great tone inspires great playing. Kuddo's!
When Rob jammed, panties dropped xD
got the chills from this! awesome tone and playing!
i felt like this might have been filmed around the time rob was leaving his first wife and he was going thru some emotional shit cause that solo was crazy deep. he just went to a place and it even threw Lee for a loop and shocked him. and that look at the end by rob was like " Sorry mate, i just had to get that out."
cody thompson he said in a later video his dog had died just the day before this shoot which is why his opening solo was so emotional
Bullshit!!!. The captain and chappers were having a gay affair at the time, which was discovered by chappers ex wife. She made a statement saying that Rob used to nosh off Lee whilst making eye contact the whole time. They ended the affair and that is why Rob played his heart out on this track!!!
Chappers, that was the best solo you have ever done, holy shit. Right in the feels
Definitely your best blues run ever. Recent events, and channeling a bit of the Captain through his sig guit. Fantastic stuff.
Great playing Chappers! The Captain sounded brilliant as well!
Rob, that was one of the most moving solos I''ve EVER heard. I thank you for cleansing my soul.
brilliant another great video as always chappers hope everything is going ok glad you came down to brighton its a great town with a thriving music scene i think youll find yourself right at home ;)
Great work Chappers on the solo at the start, blues record quality no question.
I still remember that first chappers guitar solo in this amp review more than any modern music I’ve heard in the last decade. Time to buy a sensor.
best playing i've heard from you in 3 years, seriously killer stuff! nice work :D
Listened to it so much I know that Chapper solo so well I can follow it like Hotel California. (can't play it, I can follow it) Hope you bought one of those Sensors, Rob. I did, a day after hearing that. Best amplifier ever.
one of the best sound in a youtube video EVER
Chappers, you made me squeal like a little girl with that AMAZING solo. Incredible!
Great great great solo by chappers!
That Spark pedal into the Bi Onyx really sounds great. Both amps are pretty special. Great review.
I just love to see how this amp inspires rob to play differently than he would normally do. IMO Rob at his very best :)
2:55 - 3:40 was amazing, one of the best solo's I've heard from Chappers thorughout out his time demoing and reviewing at Andertons.
Cappy is googly eyed at about the 3 minute mark.Chappers veritably leteth it ripeth! Me likey!!!!!!
Man these OG andertons videos are incredible
Holy... Your playing made me shiver. The videos of the last months weren't that good, but you just came back with a blast!! Capt is getting better and better and Rob is getting back to his brilliant state of playing. You can see he moved on in his life and I'm confident that everything will work out good for him. Thumbs up and THANK YOU FOR GETTING GUITAR PLAYING BACK IN MY LIFE!!
chappers solo was unbelievable, best i’ve heard, captains solo blew me away too, some of the best vibrato out there
My goodness, these amps sound unbelievable!
Capt.'s solos are just great
Chappers, that was the best damned thing I've ever heard u play!!!! Was looking at getting the studio pro amp but might have to look at the sensor!!! Awesome sound
Hey Chappers, you really shine in blues solo, keep going that way !
Never expected to get that tone out of the amp (Because it's a 1x12 combo) but damn that sounds good! Robs your playing was great and the Captain also, one of my favorite demos you've done so far for sure!
man, the Captain killed it in the jam with the backing track. it was so good I would buy it to listen to if I could
Great tone and playing guys , nice to see Chappers playing more melodic stuff rather than shredding everything to death .Awesome work
Face melting solo from Chappers there from 2:00. Cap'ns face is classic.
I dare say the reason they cut the video after he finished was so he could fist-bump/high-5/man-hug everyone in the room, or because someone had to change their underwear.
Yes, thanks for the longer videos!
Captain's face says it all on the solo! Bravo
Chappers, that solo at the start exploded my dinosaur...
Rob wasn't lying when he said he has a lot of "feels" to get out. Thats some really tasty playing.
2:03 Holy mother... if the reason for such emotional playing wasn´t so sad, i´d be even more flabbergasted and astonished. This is work of a true guitare aficionado and the reason why I love you Rob and your channel for such a long time. Keep up the great work!
P.S. I think it is also time again for some of that sweet Chappers-Dreadlock-Looks
Have to say, the tones in this video are incredible. Both Chappers and Captain Lee definitely did justice to these amps with their playing.
Rob best solo yet!! Amazing.
First, kudos to the Captain on some of the more expressive playing I've heard him do. One detail, and I haven't ready the hundreds of comments, but to say the driver is a Celestion G12M makes one think of one of the Greenbacks, which are all different. This is the Creamback. Very different sound, which I like a lot. It and Weber's 12F150. Creamback is what came in my Tone King Sky King. Little lower sensitivity, more like the 25W Greenback. Two Rocks and Tone King have some sort of affiliation....
What the hell was that!!! So I love both of your playing all the time, but that was some other level you chaps hit in this one. Wow!
God that solo in the beginning was so amazing. A lot of feeling went into that solo.
one of the best videos ever !!!
thank you for making my day
Goddaaaamn Chappers, really stepped up the game in this one!
man I could listen to that first jam all day long
you can tell chappers is going through a tough time when he can shred a blues solo soo perfect. felt that.
Best solo from Chappers, and one of the best I ever heard in general!
3:00-3:30 best blues I have ever heard chappers play...awesome tone
its been like 5 months since i watched an episode, i thought that it was chappers playing, but it was the captain! nice going dude ;)
Good to see ML back
you guys are getting some great tones! this is a very little suggestion I received a long time ago regarding playing the blues and I'm just passing it along for you to take or leave.. and it goes like this: start your phrases on the upbeat and finish them on the downbeat,
cheers mates!
Beautiful playing, good demo's, fun videos. I really like your videos Chappers and i think you are very professional. :)
Awesome playing! Killer solo Rob!
Amazing solo chappers! Love you man!
Gall damn Rob. That was some next level playing!
I love the CAptain's face when Rob went into that sensational few bars.
Amazing playing. Best i've heard from them.
To me you get a two rock amp with a nice drive pedal and you just cant beat a tone like that man. No phasers or flangers or delay just a solid tube with tasty cleans and slap a dirty pedal on it and let it rip for the lead stuff, I love it. And the videos keep it up guys!
chappers and Captain killin it on this one!
robs best solo yet :OOOOOO
Damn Rob... I have always known you were good, but recently you have been playing so killer! I think you have improved, some how, some way... It's like your playing speaks more. Lovely, keep it up!!
Some of the best playing I have ever heard from you there Rob, the el captain ain't bad either. Nice one fellas
The Cpt-10 Chapman guitar sounded double monkey lord epic with the rig setup for this video. Nice job guys.
From the 2,04 Mr Chappers ... awesome !
Great sounding little amp, and great Playing Rob as always\m/
Hot damn that solo. I need to change my trousers, hang on.
Holy Mother - they sound great!
The captain is awesome guitar player. Amazing feel and tone.
captain just killed it, speechless.
Chappers, you're an awesome player and I love your sound, playing and style, but I'm loving more of the Captain playing as well! You both just ROCK! Keep it up!
Absolutely amazing soloing!
Excellent solo Captain !!!
5:01 priceless chappers look.
You both sounded amazing. Thanks.
Chappers' first impro was very, VERY nice!
best tone chappers has ever had in my opinion. i want a CAP-10 now :p
Chappers holy damn you put out some amazing solo's
Is their a knob on either of these amps that can dial in more talent? Because holy SHIT! Now THAT knob goes all the way to 11.... Best playing I've heard from either one of Chappers or Lee... Can I buy those jams on iTunes or something? Oh my god...
Matt Campbell You can listen to them on the soundcloud page of Chappers
Love the tones you guys are getting through these amps. The Cap signature guitar really impressive and a nice (complimentary) switch up from the Strat tone. Both sounded great.
You guys are playing some especially nice stuff too. I happen to be a fan of Gary Moore. :>
