Don't buy this shit. After a year of occasional use of the S6, the robot is dead and cannot be repaired. They are poorly built.
What exactly happened with your S6? I have been using many roborocks for years & had no problems.
@@NiuxTech It told me error 10, when I sent it to the warranty service they told me that it could not be fixed. I search it in internet and I see that error 10 it is a recurring problem.

I still dont understand why it says "E11" instead of real HEPA filter. You can officially buy HEPA filters for the S7 (and also S5 and S6). And the auto-empty dock also has a HEPA filter. What is this are they rly selling the S7 with EPA (not HEPA) filters? EPA E11 is 95% filtration whereas most HEPA filters go up to 99 or 99,9%.

If you need better mopping - yes, if not - then keep S5 Max ;)
Look at wacuum wars if you want more info. It's not all unicorn and rainbows with the S7.
Of course, but S7 is still superior in mopping compared to any other Roborock roomba (even S6 MaxV) :))
Can you tell me what was the difference in noise? I've got the S5 and gonna buy the new S7 when it's available in my country. The S5 is noisy especially compared to Viomi V3. I guess the S7 will be much quieter than the S5 but how much?
Hi. You are right. Roborock S6 & S7 are much quieter. I would say about 30% compared to S5.

Can the s7 + be programed to empty, eg every 30 min? or does the bin know when getting full and then empties itself?

Hi.
S7 can be programed only every time it returns to the dock. At least for now, I believe with future software update it could be more customizable. However to my knowledge, it doesn't have any dust bin capacity sensors.
It will update map if you rearrange furniture as it always scans the surroundings with its 360 lasers. It might touch furniture during the mapping and cleaning process.
Wall to wall mapping depends on the furniture itself. If robot can't go & scan underneath the furniture - it will most probably show up as a wall on the map. E.g. it shows my bedroom bed as a wall, but it doesn't really mater when it comes to cleaning.
And finally, yes, you can customize rooms and areas on map + rename rooms as you want.
But it leaves wheel marks

@@sebulbathx no, you should not add anything else, just water (even better filtered / distilled water). Although - you can directly spray some floor washing liquid directly on mopping pad or floors itself.

A bit frustrated with S7 side brush tangled with carpet. Otherwise it is almost perfect.
Yeah, I wish side brush could be easily removed like on Dreame L10 Pro
which is better for vacuum pet hair s5 max or s7 or Dreame Bot L10 Pro. which better in other cleaner? please recomend. I have cat and daughter :)
I have s5 max and dog labrador, so hoover do the great job, it still can suck all hairs on a carpet in one go, but i did repeat function so it cleans twice and happy days
Do you think Roborock s7 will add Y-mopping cleaning to their robots?
I don't think "Y-mopping" is needed, because S7 has vibrating mopping feature, which is already more effective compared to traditional drag mopping.

@@topye-ye8861 hi. You should not add any soap into the water tank directly, however if you want - you can spray on the floor directly, or simply use the water itself on Roborock S7.
For the flat of 60 m2 - Roborock S7 is more than enough :)
