- I've had so many recommendations from you all to try the Regency Club and give it a review as it's one of London's most iconic Indian/Kenyan fusion restaurants. I've been interested in giving this one a go for a while now so I'm looking forward to it!

Apologies for the audio issue after 8 minutes. Will be sorted for the next video. The cameraman was using new equipment for this one so just a few teething issues.

I joined the TV licence ditching club some time ago, youtube or dvds for me.
Well done mate ! There is a whole world of entertainment on here. Mainstream tv is crap and the tv licence is a complete farce - you'll quickly find you don't need it and don't miss it

The portions looked good and the quality second to none , £48 with a beer and enough for two who could complain ,a great choice...I was more than a little envious.

Cant lie I love this review and had a chuckle with the audio issues. Even with Audio issues it reminds me of the english dubbed kung fu movies in the 70s. Great stuff Gary and fantastic to see your channel is rising. :)

I had a lot of mogo (cassava) growing up as my mum is East African born. It's a versatile vegetable, not far off from potatoes. They are nice chipped, like you had them but we also have them cooked in coconut cream which is a great comfort food. They're not pronounced rhyming with 'logo' btw, haha. More like 'moggo' with the 'o' like the 'o' in the word 'off'. Otherwise just look for it as 'cassava'.

@@GaryEats No, you weren't to know, we all mispronounce things until someone can inform us of the correct way. I'm sure I've said things wrong when ordering unfamiliar food. It's sometimes a good idea to ask the waiting staff how a dish name is pronounced.

Same here, grew up up eating mogo from early childhood. Remember taking it to school and getting strange looks. Still eat it regularly and absolutely love it. Great choice by Gary to select this dish. It did look really good. But I'm still not impressed with Gary's naan eating skills!

Yes there was some sound sync issues tonight but they made me laugh (not at you, but with you), it was a bit like Gary was a commentator on a foreign language food news story! / The food looked great, and clearly tasted it too. 😮mmm, that looked absolutely delicious, Gary. Nicely presented too. Lip sync was a bit off in parts but once again a good review.
Lipsynch like a Beyonce video, but at least the music's tolerable.
Pretty good balance for an eatery, but I don't like service charges outside tourist traps in Zone 1.

I have to say that just by looking at some of the dishes over all these reviews, it’s easy to tell when you’re going to give a positive review. These dishes were again so appetizing looking, I could almost smell them. Thank you for sharing the experience.

Regency has been a family favourite for us (Gujarati Indians) for well over a decade. The mogo. The mixed grill. The Bombay Baha. So glad you enjoyed Gary!

Ooh lamb samosas. Tarka Dhal. Brilliant traditional choices. Love them both.
The food looks delicious. Excellent presentation.
I love it when a dish hits back at you unexpectedly. Black pepper is just excellent in a curry. The Tarka is just a wonderful dish with a curry. It's fallen out of fashion a bit but I love it with a naan and don't have rice.
Very large portions there. It's a meal for two there at least.
That place is yet another 10. It's on my list for a visit! I love curry.
£50 for two is cheap! Great review of a great place. At that price it has to be a 10.

@@GaryEats it would be great to see you try less well known cuisines. There is great restaurant called Taste of Ethiopia near Pentonville Prison. G Kelly near Bethnal Green do great pie n mash/eels also.
If there's one thing I've learned from this channel, it's that the worse a restaurant looks from the outside, the better it is!

Dal is so good for you. I love it. You clearly enjoyed the dishes. Very generous portions indeed. 9.5 out of 10 is an excellent score. I would not mind going there for lunch myself. Thank you again for a great video.

Always appreciate your videos, Gary. You go into so much detail about the food and always give it a fair mark unlike some UA-camrs who rate everything 9/10 out of 10.
Only thing I would say is it would be nice to see more restaurants further North in the country reviewed.
