Zac, this practice move is so fantastic! I have the feeling of swinging a lot slower than i normally did before, but holy moly did i pick some distance! I do a couple of practice swing , with the drill, before every shot, in the fairway or on the tee box, and it's simply does miracle for me! Thank you so much Zac! You're the best!
Great video. The "width" and the "stretch" are both important, and you gave us a great drill for both, Zach. For the "stretch," my swing thought is: stay relaxed at the start of the downswing, and keep both elbows over my right/trail foot for as long as I can as my hips turn towards the target. I practice with a speed radar, and I definitely get more mph this way, with far less effort. Thanks again, Zach.
Hey Zack love this and😮 other videos, this really helped me, talking about how you should feel just went to the range and was hitting high draws, love the disassociate in the swing
I have a very compact swing by design and was struggling in my last couple of rounds as it felt I was chopping at the ball. This simple drill on the range has brought my width back and swing more fluid once again. This is effective and so portable , I can use it while waiting for my partners to hit! GREAT TIP!
I saw some video of my swing and surprisingly found my trail elbow hardly left my core. Have a good turn, but little radius. This video has helped. Not only longer, but a better shot shape. Thanks, Zach!
Good advice getting the hands to stay quite is really tough. Watching you demonstrate has given me hope of gaining some much needed distance. I am possibly the definition of the mad slasher, which could easily address the reason my hands (arms) lead me into ball. Cheers let’s all pray for a moment of peaceful complete swing, Amen.
Excellent video... nearing scratch golf and a weakness in my swing is when I lose width in my swing and have to swing my arms faster to get decent club head speed. Wil definitely being trying this drill out.
I've worked with this and another benefit that I've found is that with the slower feeling swing, the quality of contact goes up. I'm hitting the ball a full club longer and much more consistent and straighter.
Think he means diameter rather than radius. If he had wheels with a 29” radius that would be a 58” wide wheel. Unless he’s riding a “penny farthing”. If you’ve never heard of a penny farthing bicycle, look it up. However, best golf coach on you tube 👍👍
Hi Zach; Your impact sounds like a heavy hit. My issue is not having speed thru the impact area & beyond. Turning the club upside down & swinging shows me where the speed should be but doesn't help when I'm swinging the club normally. How do I increase speed gradually from the top thru impact without being too fast from the top. I understand the concept of using gravity & "letting the club fall" but the majority of the time, I pull down from the top. The only clubs I swing really well, with balance & timing are SW & LW, likely because I'm not thinking of how far I have to hit the ball, because it takes no effort, as with other clubs, which, as soon as I know I have to hit a shot 100 yards or more, I immediately swing harder but not faster. I stay well connected when swinging easily for short shots but if I need speed, I lose connection from trying to swing faster. Thanks for any ideas you might have.
OMG Zach, you have a special way with teaching. The piece about width is exactly what I have been missing
Clear & concise teaching. That extra width feels really powerful. Thanks brother.
Always producing the best golf content. Great job buddy. Hope your well.

I love it, brings a smile to my face to hear about your good shots!

Perfect demonstration, thanks 😊👍
excellent video, great tip on how to practice it and really liked showing the result at the end. Every instructional video should be like this
trail arm is the instigator proper for a nice wide take up. thx for sharing.
love this drill. Excellent video as always, Zach. Glad I signed up for the blueprint...
This was very well explained Zach!
Great content ... subscribed ⛳👍

Yep exactly the trail elbow should only touch your torso later in the downswing. Too soon and you compromise width.
I'll work that drill. Thank you

🙏🏾
That was really helpful and exactly what I was looking for as a beginner who is stuck with short distance.
Another great video, and years of excellent online lessons 👍
Thank you so much for clarifying the mysterious"Swing Easy Hit Hard" technique.

This might be just what you need.

Damn! That’s awesome
Great vedio! Thank you.
Good stuff. Helpful.
I've watched a lot of golf videos and this one was something different. Great video!
I have just subscribded, great video.
That bicycle analogy is great.

Good info!
Any other videos or books on Less effort = More Power and More Accuracy?
Zach, you make it look so easy but the width is a power producer.
So we have a choice - effortless power or powerless effort!!

Excellent, thanks. Instant subscriber here !!
good stuff 100th thumb up
Great tip Zach! Merci beaucoup
I've always heard about the power of the swing
Yes yes yes
As a golfer, I'm total sack o shit. I'll try anything.
Best comment ever!
What is the email please
2:09 29" radius wheels would mean you have a 58" wheel diameter. That's almost 5 feet.
He made a mistake. He meant diameter. No big deal.
@@edinnm8212 Really? I thought maybe he had a bike that was 6 feet tall. Thanks for clearing that up.
@Matt Becham George Jetson agrees with you. He works at Spacely Sprockets (sorry if you're not old enough to remember the Jetsons. 😀)
29" wheel DIAMETER...
key to distance in golf = club head speed
The magic move douchest commercial ever.
)
Shame can't you get your kid bigger wheels
There is no key its the old banana BS you either got it or dont period
Punctuation is not in your wheelhouse I see. Trolling maybe is?
