I kind of feel the same about Seign's DLC, it's the one I don't really care much about. But I can definitely see why you're not interested in Marisa's. A lot of people were left underwhelmed by her character and her (lack of) involvement in the story.
Tbh Eiyuden Chronicle was a big disappointment for me. It came nowhere near recapturing the feeling of suikoden. I’d probably rank it around Suikoden 4 level and that’s my least favorite suikoden game. Interesting to hear they’re making a sequel but I have no expectations.
I wouldn't exactly call it a flop. The game actually outsold 505 Games expectations. It was a commercial success, and it reviewed fairly decently, averaging scores in the mid 70s. They've already said that a sequel is moving forward. Whatever issues, problems and complaints people may have had with the game, and as justified as many of those complaints are, it wasn't a flop.
@@Luca-nq4gy A flop would be a financial failure. A flop would be a critical failure. Of which the game was neither. A flop would be a disappointment to the majority of fans. Even ignoring critics scores, user reviews also put it in the mid 70s as well. That's the majority who were pleased with it. Let's look at Steam, 78% positive, 22% negative. A very vocal minority repeatedly declaring what they hate about the game doesn't make it a flop. It might have fallen flat of some peoples personal expectations, but that doesn't make it a flop as the majority clearly enjoyed it. I myself had many issues with the game, and I still do have issues and complaints with the game. Did it completely live up to my expectations? No. A bit of a disappointment, yes, absolutely. But it was most certainly not a flop.
@@CulganValya well, here my point. people inform each other -> people not buying the game -> people who don't buy can't rating -> low sale with satisfied score. i am one of those fans who don't buy nor giving rating.

They made you eat your words, or did your words make them spew theirs? 🤔
That was my first thought, lol.
I'm pretty sure I don't have that kind of sway, so I'd like to think it's the former.
I honestly didn't mind the delay about because I couldn't give any less of a shit about Marisa and her DLC and was just waiting for Seign and Markus 😅

They did not make you eat all your word(s).

@@CulganValya That count as a flop for big expectation games like this from my PoV.
