You are so welcome!
Ordered me some sublimation mouse pads cant wait to try it...awesome video
Hope you enjoy it!
Love it!
I absolutely love this!!! Thank you 🙏
So glad!
thank you !!!! :)
You are amazing!
Wow great video!! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
@@AngieHoldenquick question can I use parchment paper instead of butcher paper.?
Wow this is amazing! I love how u did the reverse weeding, I would have never thought of that lol I am new to infusible ink. If I buy the combo Pack mouse pads that come with black ones, can infusible ink be used on black? Thank you so much for this video.❤️
Whatever the surface color is, you will be able to see it through the Infusible Ink. So, no it won't really work on black.
could you do a video on doing a mouse pad with a personalized photo. I just had a new Grandbaby and would like to make one for my desk and then one for his parents. Thank you - great video
To do a photo like this, you would need a sublimation printer which is something not a lot of people have.
Great job. I'm glad I found your channel. Do you have a suggestion on how do I know what temp and time to do these and other non- cricut blanks With the infusible products?
If they are non-Cricut blanks, I would pick the closest Cricut blank and use that.
Thank you for sharing. I would make a square to the size of the mousepad and center the wording that way. Less waste of the infusible sheet. And where did you get that adorable tape dispenser?! 🥰
Tape dispenser was from TJ Maxx.
What size do you put to do the whole mouse pad
I'm tempted to buy a mini easy press to do a mouse pad, would that work do you think? and smart iron vinyl for the Cricut Joy as thats the machine I have. Great video by the way! Your label making one helped me understand writeable vinyl :)
I don't know if I would put iron on onto a mousepad. It would be slightly raised and with your mouse rubbing on it, it may not last very long?
@@AngieHolden Thats good to know, thank you for your help :)
where did you get your tape dispenser ? oh and your video is great as always !
I got it from TJ Maxx.
Can I sublimate two different layers on a mouse pad? I don't have a sublimation printer and I want to use cricut infusible ink pattern sheets as the background with black wording so I would need to do two presses. If it can be done, would I do the black on the first press or the second? Thank you, Angie, I've learned a lot from your videos.
Yes you can! Or you can do them at once by peeling off the black cuts and putting them on the backing paper of the first color.
Do you think these same steps would work with a printed sublimation sheet? I have a sublimation printer (followed your instructions on making one) and I’ve been sublimating everything, but I’m curious if I could use this same technique with sublimation paper/ink and a mouse pad.
Definitely!
Can you do designs on mouse pad without sublimation & without infusable ink
I guess you could add HTV but you would have raised areas and those may not be best for a mouse pad.
Angie, what was the heat and length of time you used for, this mouse pad? ❤️🇨🇦
I always use what is recommended by the place I purchase the mouse pad from.
I ordered some sublimation mousepads from Amazon but they seem to have a grey tint to them even though they say the color is white. Has anyone found the pads on Amazon that are actually white? If so, can you please share the link? Also, when I sublimated on the pads in some areas it turns yellow. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I really appreciate the help. Angie your videos are very informative. I love watching your videos.
Hmmmm. The ones I have are white but I am not sure which listing they were. And they have not turned yellow at all.
I used my 9x9 easy press on my mouse pads . I got lines on my pads . I did not put extra pressure at all. How do I prevent these lines .
Neoprene blanks are the WORST for marks. There is not a ton you can do about them other than get a larger press.
Can you use a heat press machine? I don't have a Cricut Easy Press
Yes you can!
Any idea why my design would come out with colors faded in some parts? What did I do wrong?
Most likely it is uneven heating or not heating long enough.
where did u get the tape dispenser? Gonna try this
It was from TJ Max several years ago.
What temperature and how long did you apply for mouse pad 🤔
You want to look at the manufacturer's instructions for the mouse pad you purchase in order to get it right.
please help!!! I have ruined 2 mouse pads now. I am ending up with an unsublimated streak in the middle of my mouse pad. Does this mean that my easy press (less than 2yrs old with minimal use) is now garbage? The last mousepad I did I was able to re-situate my sublimation sheet and use my mini press to sublimate the missing pieces. NOT FUN LET ME SAY. I am super proud that I was able to do it but why is this not working? I have no trouble doing t-shirts with iron on transfers, no trouble sublimating coasters and small items but I am scared to do another mouse pad. My hubby thinks that the easy press is not heating properly?
Try this: ua-cam.com/video/3YGqyPMfFTU/v-deo.html
I have an older 9 x 9 heat press. What temperature and for how long would you press it?
Maybe 385 for 60 seconds?
@@AngieHolden it came out great! Thanks for your go-to videos, Angie.
@@AngieHolden worked great!
Where can I find a longer mouse pad
Sorry not sure.
What temperature did you use on the mouse pad?
I always look to where i purchase a blank and the time/temp recommended.
What is the heat setting?
I would just use the settings for shirts and Infusible Ink in the Cricut Heat Guide.
What temp for 40s please?
I would check for time and temperature where you purchase your blanks.
What Size mouse pad
You could make any size with this same technique.
What temp and how long please and thank you 🥰
Always check with the manufacturer for the mouse pads you buy for a time and temp. They can vary.
@@AngieHolden what temp did you use I got mine from Amazon with no instructions
Is it possible to put a photo on the mouse pad? And how?
You would use sublimation for that.
If you don't have a sublimation printer, Etsy has shops where you can send your image and size and they will send you a sublimation print ready to use on your project.
Is that heat tape?
Yes it is.
can you use an iron?
Try this: ua-cam.com/video/CMkYy0S8f5I/v-deo.html
What 2 Fonts did you use?
I think this was a design in Design Space at the time.
If you are using someone personalized logo can you use infusion ink paper in a printer
No. You would use printable heat transfer vinyl for that. You can see more about that here: ua-cam.com/video/ujNoOjmQyjo/v-deo.html
What size did you make template to get full design
I measured my mousepad and went a little larger to account for mistakes in placement.
