When I chose 4 faces to circularize, the flat doesn't go along with surround object but distorted in strange direction. I have to rotate to adjust the side of the flat. How can I circuralize to match the right side like you without further adjustment?
while trying to make the curve of the tree, I don't see the points I make with the create curve tool. My scene isnt hidden. Any idea please ? it seems like the point goes too far away from my scene
TLDR; to make the tree branches, use edge loop to get enough faces to work with where you want to extrude the branch, select 4 faces, Edit>Mesh>Circularize, then extrude those 4 faces on a curve. Set tapering on the extrude to taper it. Same with the roots. In one case, he extrudes the 4 faces and scales them down without actually extruding them just to get enough clean geometry before the extrude on curve.
I've always struggles with organic objects especially trees. Thank you for this

Is there a way of making the curve line dissappear after extruding? The curves are all around, but if I delete one a tree branch is deleted
UPDATE: I hid them by creating a layer with them selected

hi sir, I've been following your tutorial. One question I had was, is it okay to take the UV of the rock before giving its shape?
You can do that but you shouldn't extrude it after that. Can change the shape of it and unfold the UVs.
Aaaand I can't make the damn stone... This one is too much for me, maybe I'll be able to make it in Zbrush

sounds like you need to update your graphic cards driver
Just check if you are already using many edge loops.
