Why did y'all blur out the driver's face?
They are on his side apparently.
@@dnadelson Yep!
Because hes not the one in the wrong

Hideously disfigured beyond all belief?👹Female driver? Who knows?
On that path Mercedes jeep did not have right of way you can't make that left or right in front of bicyclists or pedestrians go back to driving school man in jeep and take a chill pill!!! 😮

@@JohnDough-p6xno matter. They need to watch for bikes and motorcycles. Stop texting, putting on make up, picking something up from the floor or changing radio channels if tgey can't surf the radio while still looking at the road.
@@RepentfollowJesus BIKES need to watch for cars and pedestrians. Try counting the number of times bike riders are texting, running stop signs, and riding through pedestrian crosswalks full of people. It goes both ways and honestly bike riders are the worst.

I hope traffic gets worse for all drivers and pray for more pot holes
We can identify the driver if y’all don’t cover his FREAKING FACE !
I know exactly where that garage is. I will be there videoing . Monday morning 5/22/23 . I will not blur his head .
And advertise the parking spot to ensure the G-Wagon receives the proper detailing job.

Yup, benz driver, figures.
He probably thought he slowed down to let him pass
He told his side of the story but you may never know what was exchanged between them
the driver was just being a little angry snowflake
Okay driver.
It doesn't fucking matter. Nothing allows you to drive aggressively.
No surprise: the driver was old and yt
Don’t blur his face, you cowards!
Slow news day, eh?
Not slow if you ever rode a bike or motorcycle and nearly got hit or had friends who were killed riding their motorcycle because of idiots. I had a biker friend, well a lot of them, but one would sometimes take her husband's trike to the store out in the country. She had 2 young kids. Left at home with dad. Some idiot hit her and killed her. Its more dangerous now with texting and such.
@@RepentfollowJesus 🤫💤🥱😞😴😔😑 oops, sorry, now what was it you were saying about the current inferior quality of driver education in yr states' school system that leads to incidents invoving motorists?
I consider it a break from the intentional violence/chaos that happens around the city, daily... even though this is also a bit chaotic.

take your TOYS off the roads that are for cars and trucks. go play with them at the park or on the sidewalks whear THEY BELONG and this would not happen
I have more rights on a horse than you do in a vehicle in the public roads
Bicycles don't belong on sidewalks either!!

He was on a designated bike lane bicyclists have a right to road safety these are the issues they face with this mentality and they get killed and injured. Glad everyone is okay 👍
I would love to see more bikes than vehicles on the road but having a random day for a mass bike ride "to work" during one of the busier hours of the day is the dumbest thing I've ever heard and actually had a feeling something like this was going to happen. In Houston, biking and walking are extreme sports as it is.
But they had to go at the same time as rush hour to get to their jobs too. They need to try something to keep bike riders safer. And motorcycle riders too. People in cars hit both types of bikes because they aren't paying attention. When I rode on the back of motorcycles they had bumper stickers for our cars saying Loud Pipes Save Lives ! In protest of the laws saying the pipes had to be muffled. Bad choice. You will look up if you hear a loud Harley coming. Now they aren't just looking off somewhere or changing the dial on the radio, they are texting and talking on phones . We once passed an idiot texting( I kid you not !) On TWO phones. Both hands on the wheel and a phone in each hand. We were in our dually so we could see down in her car! She would text on one phone then the other. I hope she and all that ever drive near her live to tell about it.
@RepentfollowJesus lol I agree with you completely and the duel phone texting made my day. I'm saying they made a route to town hall, I believe. They weren't heading to work, I doubt all of the bikers work in the same building and if they do it would've been better to make a corporate bike ride midday when there is no one on the road. We can call it "bike to lunch day". This was poorly executed.
Houston is wet and humid and hot and potholed roads with no shoulders. Ride to work IS an "extreme sport" and you need a shower and clothes when you get to work. Basically it adds an hour or two to to your day not counting time spent in hospitals.
@@arthurfoyt6727 no no nooo you can't ride a bike in Houston it's because I said so
@@arthurfoyt6727oh won't somebody think of the cars!!!!!!
LOL In the g wagon. 😊
The driver did nothing wrong.
Yes he did. Failure to yield,
THAT is why i used to drive facing oncoming vehichle traffic !! So i could see if i needed to swerve away from a car or dive off into the grass. I know they say drive with the cars. I say NO !! I DONT want to ride not knowing whats going on behind me headed for me.
More and more I am starting to feel the same way; the evolution of the concept of trust and moral hazard is no more. Cant trust many people these days. Maybe 10-15 years ago, it was safer to jog/bike WITH the flow of traffic.
That is illegal to ride against traffic. The same as bicycles running stop signs. If you choose to be on a road, you follow the laws of those roads. Blaming drivers for not following the rules when you don't follow the rules is kinda funny.
@@arthurfoyt6727 I've seen more cars make a an illegal U-turn into oncoming traffic then bikes
@@arthurfoyt6727 nah, projecting things that people are not saying while acting like you know better than everyone else is what's kinda funny. The original comment didn't say anything about blame. They just said why they prefer to ride the other way. AND they acknowledged it was against the rules, but for safety reasons. No one needs to give anyone the finger or scream obscenities for safety reasons. You're dismissed.
@@arthurfoyt6727and the guy in the video was following the rules. So your comment is pointless.
First off, you don't ride a bike to work in Houston. You have to start really early (in the dark where you can't see or be seen) and by the time you get to work you are drenched in either sweat or rain (100% humidity most mornings). This "dude" probably has never ridden to work in his life judging from his entitled attitude and poor traffic avoidance skills. Honestly bike riders are the worst when it comes to not stopping at stop signs, crossing at a red light, or barreling through people in pedestrian crosswalks. Lighten up, Francis.
keep crying
I watch cars in front of my apartment run stop signs all the time
aint that the dammed truth
When I ride, I have multiple lights front, rear, and wear bright clothing. If you can't see me, you shouldn't be driving.
@@jdoe836 Me too! That, and I try to not ride on streets with no shoulders or busy streets. Just because I'm "legal" to be out in a lane of traffic it does not mean that it's smart to put yourself out there and hope for the best...

Why don't you bike to a dirt bike track?
They don't lead to your job. Why don't car drivers get off their cells texting and changing radio channels and talking on the cell or putting on make up on the way to work? What about motorcycles? You want them to drive to work down dirt roads too?
@@RepentfollowJesus It's dumb to ride a bike to work in Houston. Firstly you have to start earlier in the dark where it's hard to see. It's Houston so you get to work drenched head to toe (either from rain or the 100% humidity in the morning). MOTORCYCLES are no problem since they keep up with traffic and/or can have really good windshields and enough airflow to not sweat.
