- This is not how a proper alignment is completed this is for anyone that purchased a unit and dint have it aligned.

This will allow you to at least sound human on USB & LSB.
I watch a lot of these videos. The various accents from different parts of the country crack me up.

Yes, the good news is I have spoken in length with them and they are trying to remedy the issues.

What's your turn around for work on a ranger 2995dx? I live in Philadelphia and it would be cheaper for me to drop off the radio in Mountainside NJ than to ship and insure it. Is that a possibility?

Don't screw with it send it to SUPIERIOR CB in Ontario,Calif,they are RCI TECH,They will fix it right with a factory warranty.

No I haven’t seen any drift with this new one, the old ones yes

Why would they box a new radio off frequency
That’s a great question, unfortunately RCI has not offered an answer to that question yet. I would guess poor quality control and it’s a shame it is a very, very nice radio once aligned.
Frequency instability is a standard included feature included in all Ranger / Galaxy radios. For the money, we need to demand better. There are alternatives and I would strongly recommend you look a them, over these. Especially if you are an SSB operator. 73.
So far I will say I haven’t noticed frequency drift on this one yet, I was surprised! They upgraded the power supply and I believe it has improved over past models.

@@mr.stonerUDX714 the new radios from Anytone, President (Qixiang) are rock solid. It's just the Ranger shit that is always off frequency and drifting.

What yer on 27.2500- Hello 27.2550 is where it's should be,get the shift set right,I've been running 2995's for yrs and never seen Shit like this.Wake up folks...
When doing it this way it can be on any frequency it won’t matter as long as your receiver is set to same frequency. The fact is all the new 2995dxhp need USB & LSB adjustment they are off from the factory. I’m a direct dealer and have done well over 30 units already.
Galaxy Ranger total garbage right out of the box..
Agree they definitely need to be aligned properly.
