Empties are one of my fave videos to watch - a multitude of mini reviews in one place, with a decent understanding of the products actual performance (as opposed to a first impression or haul). It's also a space where we see what people with access to tons of products actually used and/or repurchased. I think descriptions of textures as well as highlighting of ingredients is really helpful, as we can more easily pick things that may work for each of us. For instance I have super dry, hypersensitive, rosacea and eczema prone skin which is post menopausal. This means I'm severely dry and incredibly sensitive. I need fragrance free, soothing skincare with richer textures to lock in hydration. I use tretinoin and azelaic acid on alternating nights so I need a lot of hydration, moisture and occlusivity. Lightweight creams are a pass for me, as unless they're part of a layered routine eg the cereve pm doesn't work for me at all. To highlight how much moisture I need I'm using the FAB ultra repair cream as a daycream and the LRP Lipikar at night. Best wishes.

The new Blow Out mascara is BOMB fantastic! I have NEVER in my 43 years used any mascara better. I was obsessed with Lancome mascara for years, but I don't even curl my eyelashes anymore with this!

I tried the CeraVe PM lotion and I LOVE IT! It’s nice a lightweight so it doesn’t make my skin appear greasy during the day, but is moisturizing enough to help my overly dry skin.

Tresemee cleansing conditioner I LOVE (I’ve decreased my washing to once a week thanks to you...so much less breakage!!!) that $4 for 28 ounces has Niacinimide, Biotin, panthenol, vit c and green tea! It took some time getting used to the intense fragrance...but out of the shower, after my hair dried...it wasn’t intense at all and just smelled like clean hair....LOVE IT! 🤗

hey! this is a really weird comment but i work at a store called tractor supply and one of the things i do there is work with different gasses. if i heard her correctly, it’s incredibly alarming to hear butane and propane being in the igk dry shampoo. butane is used primarily as a lighting fluid, heating fuel, or refrigerant. it can also be used as a welding gas. propane is also used as a heating fuel, cooking, or for crop drying. propane causes the displacement of oxygen…should be self explanatory why that’s not safe for us. butane’s effects could cause loss of motor functions, chemical burns, or seizures. just be careful with these things!

When you said you get seborrheic dermatitis on the backside/base of your neck I got weirdly excited because I also have it in that same spot. 😅 We're basically hair twins in every way because I'm also someone with really fine hairs but a lot of hair. And now apparently we also have matching seborrheic dermatitis loool.

Hi Abbey, I've watched quite a few of your hair product reviews. I think in another video, you said that Pureology was your fav shampoo/conditioner and doesn't make your scalp condition go crazy. I too have seborrheic dermatitis and have been dealing with it for over 20+ years. I HATE hate hate using the prescription shampoos because they dry out my hair horribly. I also hate that I have to choose between having a non-itchy/scaly/flakey/scabby scalp OR healthy looking hair. Honestly, I have tried hundreds of products just trying to find the right balance. Recently, my hair responded well to Olaplex, but my scalp did not. So I am now using Pureology after watching your review. I've washed and conditioned my hair with it three times now and so far so good. Anyway, I would really like to hear about all the things you've done to battle your seborrheic dermatitis and which products have worked best for you. Thanks!! Love all your videos! ❤️❤️❤️
I'm so glad to hear pureology is working well for you! It's been an ongoing battle for me as well... I've been testing out some different things and so far nothing has made a major difference for me. If I find something I love I'll share for sure!

Dr dray a board certified dermatologist that makes videos here on UA-cam has mentioned that aquaphor can be problematic to many due to the lanolin in it. Highly suggest the cerave healing ointment for your lips or for slugging...I’ve had great results with using it it all over my face before bed when I have a bad flare of eczema. 100% petrolatum is great too but I find it’s thicker then the cerave so its not my first choice as a product. :)

Thanks for another great video! I have a moisturizer question. I have dry dehydrated skin and since your slugging video I have been trying it. It's hard because I have short chin length hair and the Vaseline gets in my hair. Anyway I have been using the LaRoche Pissy Lipikar eczema cream which has shea butter aa a second ingredient. Is it already ocussive and won't let moisturizer go in? I use Cureology then a timeless serum a little.hydration and then the LRP and then Vasilne. I feel like I am missing moisture??
I just have such reactive sensitive skin I simplified my creams at night after Cureology.
Also btw I love the vanicream cleanser..I really helped calm down my face and neck. Thank you.

I think that depends on your skin type. as a dry type, I need a heavier moisturizer, but it's amazing for reapplication and just for spf

I think she just meant that she had found more potent serums that she enjoyed more, on top of already using tretinoin which is queen bee in the anti aging dept.

@@AbbeyYung it is pretty pricy but the ingredients in it are really good and like plant based. I’m not an expert but someone at Ulta recommended it to prevent aging and it’s for all ages 😊

I have! It works well but does have a pretty visible white cast so be careful if you have darker hair!

susan yara is such a disappointment. she made some very unethical choices coming out with her brand and her "apology" was a bunch of gaslighting BS. There are far too many other skin care brands to even give her the time of day
